Acquired by Angels from Arizona, July 23rd, in exchange for a PTBNL (INF Frazier Hall)...Assigned to Triple-A Salt Lake and allowed three earned runs or less in six of eight starts with Bees...Overall was 5-1 with 2.83 ERA with club...Tossed complete game shutout July 31 at Las Vegas (3 H)...With D-Backs' organization, appeared in 21 games with Triple-A Reno Aces, posting 8-6 record with 5.87 ERA (110.1 IP - 72 ER)...In 29 starts between Reno and Salt Lake, registered 13-7 record with 4.86 ERA...Made Angels debut Sept. 4 vs. Oakland...Tossed 2.2 scoreless innings in first two appearances with Halos, before allowing six runs in final game of season Oct. 3 at Seattle.

2011

Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Reno, going 9-5 with a 5.21 ERA (71 ER in 122.2 IP) in 21 starts...also went 1-4 with a 7.41 ERA (31 ER in 37.2 IP) in 7 starts with the D-backs...Made his first career Opening Day roster...Ended a 7-game losing streak on April 28 vs. Cubs (2 ER in 6.2 IP), his first win since Sept. 1, 2010 vs. Padres...Optioned to Triple-A Reno on May 5 and was recalled on July 19 to start that night vs. Brewers (L, 6 ER in 3.0 IP)...optioned back to the Aces on July 20.

At Double-A Mobile, tied for the team-lead with 10 victories...Named to the regular season Southern League All-Star team...Won a season-high 3 straight games from May 19-30...Tossed a season-high 8.0 innings on July 1 @ Birmingham, allowing 3 earned runs with 5 strikeouts...In 5 starts during August, posted a 1.20 ERA (4 ER in 30.0 IP) with 21 strikeouts and a .223 (25-for-112) opponents average...Struck out a season-high 9 batters on Aug. 26 vs. Jacksonville, allowing just 1 run over 7.0 innings in the game.

2008

Led Visalia in wins (12), starts (29), innings pitched (164.1) and strikeouts (143)...Led the league in strikeouts and innings pitched and finished fifth in wins...Earned his first professional win on April 24 vs. Inland Empire. Won 4 straight starts from May 21-June 5, posting a 0.70 ERA (2 ER in 27.0 IP)...In May, went 4-1 with a 2.70 ERA (10 ER in 33.1 IP), sixth-best in the league...In July, went 3-1 with a 2.48 ERA (10 ER in 36.1 IP), fifth-best in the league, and a league-high 40 strikeouts...Had a season-high 12 strikeouts on July 12 vs. Bakersfield.
