Since 1982, the MLBPAA has staged events to raise money for charities to interact with the community or to simply give back to the community. Youth clinics, golf outings, fundraisers and alumni days are among the events typically featured on the MLBPAA event schedule.
Established in 1999, the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) created the Legends for Youth Dinner to recognize former Major League players for their on-field accomplishments and their off-field contributions to communities across the nation.
