A Message from the President

Welcome to BaseballAlumni.com, and I hope that you enjoy the information about our organization. Playing in the major leagues has been a dream of many and a reality to few. The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) is a place where players and fans are able to interact off the field.

Many baseball fans have fond memories of the game that is America's pastime. There are many opportunities within the Alumni Association for major leaguers to join together in camaraderie as well as fans of the game to interact with their heroes and legends of the game.

BaseballAlumni.com will update you on the lives of former major leaguers by profiling them on their current activities and interests as well as memories and stories from their careers. The best way to get to know us is to get involved by becoming an Alumni member or participating in one of our events. There is a place for everyone to be an Alumni member including former major league and minor league players, managers, coaches, front office personnel, scouts, trainers, media and baseball fans.

We will continuously be updating baseballalumni.com to bring current information to you regarding our activities and products. Please feel free to send a message to [email protected] with any comments or suggestions of what you would like to see on our site.

Sincerely,

Jim Thome

Jim Thome, a member of the MLBPAA since 1999, played 22 seasons in the major leagues, earning five All-Star appearances, a Silver Slugger Award and an induction into the 2018 National Baseball Hall of Fame. In 2011, Thome earned the MLBPAA’s first-ever Brooks Robinson Community Service Award, an award given to a current or former Major League Baseball player, coach or manager who exemplifies the unselfish and humble attitude of Brooks Robinson, bettering the lives of the youth in his community. The award is given in honor of the dedication Robinson has shown to young people across the country through his support of the Legends for Youth Clinic Series and the MLBPAA.
