Landon Dakota Knack…born in Johnson City, Tenn., on July 15, 1997…played two years of college baseball at Walters State Community College and two years at East Tennessee State…at ETSU finished 9-4 in his first year and 4-0 in the shortened 2020 season…presently ETSU’s all-time career ERA leader with 2.60…set ETSU record with 16 strikeouts in one game on March 7, 2020 vs. Wagner…drafted in the second round of the 2020 First-Year Player Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers out of East Tennessee State.

2024

Made his Major League debut on April 17 vs. WSH, tossing 5.0 innings and giving up four hits, two runs, a home run and a walk while striking out four...Picked up his first Major League win at WSH, throwing six innings and giving up three hits, two runs, a home run and three walks while striking out five...Finished his first Major League season with a 3-5 record with a 3.65 ERA (28 ER/69.0 IP) in 15 games (12 starts) with 69 strikeouts against 18 walks...Picked up his first save on Aug. 13 at MIL, tossing four innings and giving up three hits and one run while striking out two...In four stints with Triple-A Oklahoma City, went 4-3 with a 3.71 ERA (28 ER/68.0 IP) in 14 games (12 starts)...In three Postseason appearances, went 0-0 with a 7.71 ERA (6 ER/7.0 IP).

Split the season between Double-A Tulsa (12 G) and Triple-A Oklahoma City (10 G)... With Double-A Tulsa, fired a 2-0 record and a 2.20 ERA (14 ER.57.1 IP) with 61 strikeouts against only 12 walks and a 0.94 WHIP... Was assigned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on June 17, tossing a 3-1 record with a 2.93 ERA (14 ER/43.0 IP) while holding batters to a .262 average... Spun a career-high 11 strikeouts on April 29 with Tulsa against Arkansas…struck out four or more batters in eight straight games Named Dodgers Pitching Prospect of the Year by MLB.com…spun the longest start in the history of the Double-A Tulsa organization, 7.2 innings on June 10 against Arkansas…spent the last month of the season on the injured list with Triple-A Oklahoma City…went 2-0 at home with Double-A Tulsa with a 1.56 ERA (7 ER/34.2 IP) in seven starts compared to 0-0 with a 3.18 ERA (8 ER/22.2 IP ) in five starts on the road...fired a season-high 11 strikeouts on April 29 in five innings against Arkansas...named to the Dodgers 40-man roster after the 2023 season.

2022

Spent the entirety of the season with Double-A Tulsa, going 2-10 in 17 games, compiling a 5.01 ERA (36 ER/64.2 IP) … held righties to a .263 batting average and lefties to .247. Garnered a career-high 10 strikeouts on June 26 vs. Midland, tossing 6.0 innings while not factoring in the decision … allowed two earned runs on nine hits. Punched out three or more batters in 15 of his 17 outings…pitched 5.0+ innings in five games, firing 6.0 innings on two occasions: May 27 and June 26. Recorded three scoreless outings, May 20 at Amarillo, Aug. 27 at Arkansas and Sept. 2 at Northwest Arkansas.

2021

Split the season between Advanced-A Great Lakes (10 G, 5 GS) and Double-A Tulsa (6 GS). With Advanced-A Great Lakes, earned a 5-0 record and a 2.50 ERA (11 ER/39.2 IP), striking out 55 and walking only three. With Double-A Tulsa, compiled a 2-1 record with a 4.37 ERA (11 ER/ 22.2 IP), holding batters to a .221 batting average. Recorded his first professional win on June 21, 2021 with Advanced-A Great Lakes against the Dayton Dragons in his second professional game, tossing three innings and striking out five. Named AFL Rising Star in 2021 for Glendale Desert Dogs. Awarded Midwest League Pitcher of the Month for July 2021 … posting a 3-0 record (5 G, 4 GS) and a 1.54 ERA (4 ER/ 23.1 IP) and holding batters to only 14 hits and punching out 37 batters.
