Split the season between the Charleston Dirty Birds and the Staten Island FerryHawks of the Independent Atlantic League...Pitched in 11 games with Charleston and went 1-0 with five saves and a 1.64 ERA (two ER/11.0 IP) on six hits (one HR), one walk and one hit batter with 11 strikeouts...Traded to Staten Island in exchange for a player to be named later on Sept. 1...Recorded two saves and allowed just one run across 7.0 innings pitched for the FerryHawks, with eight strikeouts...Pitched for the Bravos of Margarita in the Venezuela Winter League and with Toros del Este in the Dominican Winter League.

Went 0-1 with nine saves and a 4.13 ERA (11 ER/24.0 IP) on 19 hits (two HR) and 14 walks with 25 strikeouts in 19 relief appearances for High-A Hillsboro…Pitched for the Gigantes de Barranquilla in the Colombian Winter League; went 3-4 with a 2.50 ERA (five ER/18.0 IP) on 13 hits (one HR) and 12 walks (three IBB) with 19 strikeouts in 18 games, all in relief.
