Spent the season in Japan pitching for the Chunichi Dragons, where he was a teammate of fellow Reds' non-roster invitee Michael Chavis.

2023

Made his first career Opening Day roster and appeared in a career-high 40 games over six stints with the Phillies...Also made 18 appearances for Lehigh Valley (AAA)...16 of his 18 outings for the IronPigs were scoreless, including each of his final 9 (10.1 IP)...Struck out 30.4% of the batters he faced with the IronPigs (24 SO, 79 BF)...Posted a 3.15 ERA (12 ER, 34.1 IP) in his final 34 outings with the Phillies after allowing 10 ER in 5.0 IP to begin the season...Had a 2.00 ERA (4 ER, 18.0 IP) in 17 appearances at CBP...Notched his first ML save on 6/18 at OAK; struck out all three batters faced in a perfect ninth inning...Since saves became a stat in 1969, became the first pitcher in Phillies history to strike out all his batters faced (min. 3 BF) and earn his first ML save...Earned his first win as a Phillie on 7/25 vs BAL...Stranded 20 of 27 inherited runners (74.1%)...Per Statcast data, ranked in the 95th percentile in fastball velocity (97.7 mph)...After the season, was a part of the club’s stay-ready camp in Clearwater for the duration of the postseason.

Earned his first ML win in the last game of the season, 10/5 at SD... Posted a 2.38 ERA (3 ER, 11.1 IP) over his last nine appearances and a 1.93 ERA (2 ER, 9.1 IP) in his last eight... In 25 appearances with Sacramento, held opponents to a .106 AVG (9-85) and a 0.70 WHIP.

2021

Was a non-roster invitee to Spring Training with SF...Spent the season with Triple-A Sacramento and went 0-3 with a 3.49 ERA in 43 games (one start)...Struck out 62 batters over 56.2 innings of work and allowed just 23 walks... Was used as an opener once, June 26 vs. Reno...worked 2.0 scoreless innings...Had a 1.50 ERA (3er, 18.0ip) over his final 12 appearances with Sacramento...struck out 19 and walked only two in that span.

2020

Did not play due to the COVID-19 pandemic but spent time at the Royals Alternate Training Site.

2019

Split the season between Northwest Arkansas (AA) and Omaha (AAA), combining to go 3-3 with two saves, a 3.58 ERA (24 ER in 60.1 IP) and 72 strikeouts (10.74 K/9) in 46 appearances...Opened the year with Northwest Arkansas, pitching to a 1.59 ERA (6 ER in 34.0 IP), before being promoted to Omaha on June 27…his last 12 appearances with the Naturals were scoreless, while he held the opposition to a .169 average (13for-77) from May 1 to the time of his promotion...Recorded all three of his wins with Northwest Arkansas: May 31 at Springfield   (7-4), June 19 vs. Amarillo (10-5) and June 22 vs. Frisco (2-0)...Surrendered 17 earned runs in his first 15 appearances with Omaha (8.20 ERA), before allowing one earned run over his final eight outings of the season (0.93 ERA), from Aug.10 on...Collected a season-high four strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work on Aug. 2 at Reno...Made 14 appearances between the Dominican and Puerto Rican Winter Leagues, pitching for Gigantes del Cibao (Dominican) and Criollos de Caguas (P.R.).

Spent the year with Northwest Arkansas, making 43 appearances…ranked second among Texas League relievers in opponents' average (.225) and K/9 (8.96), third in appearances and fourth in BB/9 (2.91)...Pitched to a 2.17 ERA (12 ER in 49.2 IP) and held the opposition to a .217 average (41-for-189) from June.

2017

Split the year between Wilmington (A+) and Northwest Arkansas, making a combined 37 appearances, including one start...Named a midseason All-Star in the Carolina League, recording a 1-2-3 fifth inning in the annual game in Salem, Va...Had a 61.0-inning homerless streak (28 appearances) dating back to 2016 snapped on July 18 at Springfield, allowing a two-run shot to Bruce Caldwell.

2016

Ranked fifth among South Atlantic League relievers with a .225 opponents' average, making 26 appearances (7 starts) with Wilmington (A)...Recorded 103 strikeouts, which tied for 12th among Royals minor league pitchers.
