Traffic Information
Hundreds of thousands of residents and visitors are expected to attend games and activities scheduled throughout Citizens Bank Park and Center City between Friday, July 10 through Tuesday, July 14. There will be large, capacity crowds at all All-Star Week events, so we encourage fans to give themselves plenty of time to get to the ballpark and the Philadelphia Convention Center. The closer it gets to the event start time, the higher the volume of traffic fans should expect to encounter. Knowing where you plan to park ahead of time and mapping a direct route to that area can help you avoid traffic congestion.
Please note that on Saturday, July 11, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge will be closed. Inbound traffic from New Jersey will be rerouted through the Betsy Ross Bridge or the Walt Whitman Bridge. Please plan accordingly.
Public Transportation
SEPTA
Utilizing the SEPTA service is a great way to navigate the city and get to the ballpark. Fans using the Metro service should utilize the Orange Broad Street Line (“B”) southbound to NRG Station, located at Broad St. and Pattison Ave, to get to the ballpark. During events, trains run every ten minutes or less. SEPTA accepts contactless payment for travel on all modes including the B. Regular fares apply for all travel to/from the game. Kids under 12 ride free.
For those looking to get to MLB’s Capital One All-Star Village, take the Orange Broad Street Line (“B”) to “Race-Vine” Street.
