To become a volunteer for PLAY BALL PARK, you will be asked to volunteer for three (3) opportunities throughout the five-day event. As a volunteer you will be able to attend PLAY BALL PARK during show hours at no charge when you are not scheduled to volunteer.
Major League Baseball Transportation
As a transportation volunteer you will welcome Major League Baseball Guests, VIPs and staff to events throughout the city. Volunteers will not be drivers, but will be present at the transportation pick up/drop off locations and welcome guests to their final destinations.
MLB Pre-Game Ceremonial Rehearsals
Major League Baseball and the Los Angeles Dodgers need help preparing for the on-field pre-game ceremonies for the MLB® All-Star Game® presented by Mastercard and the T-Mobile Home Run Derby®. Volunteers will be asked to help with the timings and the field visuals. Volunteers will be stand-ins for players participating in the game. This opportunity allows volunteers to be their favorite All-Star and stand in the same spot the MLB All-Stars will prior to the game. This role is days prior to the game and will not require volunteers for the actual game or Home Run Derby.
