On September 21, over 5,700 runners laced up for the 20th annual Race to Wrigley, celebrating two decades of community, fitness and Cubs pride!

This fall, Cubs Jr. All-Stars (CJAS) expanded to Dawes Park in Auburn Gresham, welcoming kindergarten through third grade students for five weeks of fun, fundamentals and friendship.
Young athletes learned the basics of baseball and softball while building confidence, teamwork and new connections in their community. The smiles said it all. CJAS is more than a game, it’s a movement!
Each year, MLB awards just 12 scholarships to standout student-athletes in the Nike Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program. These prestigious RBI for RBI Scholarships honor young leaders who excel on the field, in the classroom and in their communities—rising above thousands of applicants nationwide.
Congratulations to Jaden Rivera, a 2025 recipient, who now joins past Cubs Nike RBI honorees Jordan Vazquez, Jaydin Martinez and Josh Purnell in this distinguished group. We’re proud to celebrate Jaden’s achievements and wish him the best of luck this year as a freshman at Roosevelt College and student athlete on the baseball team!
2025 was a grand slam for Cubs Nike RBI baseball and softball! Nearly 800 youth athletes hit the field across 47 teams, building skills, confidence and community all summer long.

On October 21, our Cubs Scholars Class of 2025 stepped up to the plate at Chicago’s largest college recruiting convening, hosted by our partners at Chicago Scholars. With confidence and preparation thanks to their Cubs Associate Mentors, our Scholars interviewed with top colleges—and many walked away with early acceptances and financial aid offers! We’re so proud of their hard work and excited for what’s ahead. 🎓💙
