Gio Gonzalez overcomes dog-induced rug burn to make Spring debut against Mets

Hollywood proved too much for the man.

Gio Gonzalez lost a wrestling match his French bulldog, Hollywood, over the weekend and arrived at Nats camp on Monday sporting a bad case of forehead rug :

Gio on "Hollwood": "She gave me a rug burn. I hate her. And then I love her. And then I look in her face and then I love her again."

Thankfully, Gonzalez was able to overcome the small scar and pitched two scoreless innings in his Spring debut against the Mets. You lose some, you win some.
