Matt Cain is on the DL after failing to cut a sandwich 'fancy in triangles'

The Giants starter hit the 15-day DL on Monday, retroactive to April 25, with a cut on his right index finger. It was already known Cain cut his finger when he dropped a knife while making a sandwich in San Francisco's team kitchen.
