A double play is one of the more pleasing moments in baseball. Everything has to go right. Timing needs to be perfect. Any stumble or slight hesitation and the entire opus falls apart.

It also gets much harder to do these things when the ball isn't hit toward you and you have to make a behind-the-back toss with your glove to second base. And then your fellow middle infielder has to barehand that toss and fire to first base. That's what the Toledo Mud Hens' Dixon Machado (Tigers' No. 10 prospect) and Andy Burns had to do on Friday night:
