Potato Pete wins on 1st ever pierogi replay review
History was made in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night. With Potato Pete seeking his 11th consecutive victory and in the thick of a tight race for the much-desired Pierogi Crown (which I assume is made of sour cream), Saurkraut Saul was awarded a win. The W broke a three-way tie atop the Crown standings and gave Saul sole possession of first place.
Only problem: he wasn't the actual winner. Pete had literally won by a nose, though we would need replay to get it right:

While some worry about replay eliminating the human element in pierogi races, the point of racing is always to actually reward the speediest Polish dumpling. In this case, the truth won out.
