Rangers and Royals face off in egg toss and cow-milking contests

Before the Rangers played the Royals in Arlington on Saturday, both teams participated in a very different kind of competition: farming contests.

Rangers starters Derek Holland and Justin Grimm took on Royals infielders Chris Getz and Elliot Johnson in the Egg Toss. The Texans proved no match for the Kansas City duo.

Next, Rangers reliever Robbie Ross faced Royals catcher George Kottaras in the Cow Milking Contest. Though both players' teammates cheered them on, Kottaras ultimately pulled ahead of Ross.

Even with Texas' own Joe Nathan serving as honorary judge, the Royals swept the Rangers. Nevertheless, all six players have reportedly decided to stick with their day jobs.
