Sean Rodriguez stays loose in Pirates dugout by boxing the Gatorade cooler

Sean Rodriguez started at first base during the Pirates' 4-0 loss on Wednesday night, but Pedro Alvarez pinch-hit for him in the third inning. Since there were still six innings to go, Rodriguez needed a way to stay loose in the dugout, lest his arms cramp up on him.

Without a sparring partner immediately in his vicinity or punching bag at the ready, in the seventh inning he turned to the Gatorade cooler.

Coincidentally, Rodriguez had also just been ejected from the game, following a benches-clearing incident that came after Jake Arrieta was hit by a pitch. So, he very well could've been venting his frustration on the most-punchable inanitmate object in sight. But it probably was a good workout before heading into the clubhouse for the night, too.
