Zack Greinke chose the desert.

The coveted free agent recently shocked the baseball world by putting his John Hancock at the bottom of a six-year, $206.5 million contract to pitch for the D-backs. On Friday, the D-backs introduced their prized pitcher to the press, which promptly peppered him with questions about why he preferred to play in Arizona.

Among other things (fit, mentality, money ...), Greinke cited the beautiful Arizona sunsets as part of his motivation for signing with the D-backs.
