Split time between Scranton-WB (New York Yankees) & Pawtucket (Boston Red Sox) of the International League (AAA)...Spent the majority of 2008 with Scranton-WB, appearing in 97 games while posting a .236 batting average (82-347) with 19 doubles, 16 home runs & 51 RBI...Played five different positions for Scranton-WB (12-1B, 55-LF, 26-RF, 2-CF, 7-DH)...A STRONG START: Hit five home runs over his first 10 games of the season with Scranton-WB...From Apr. 10-15 scored a run in five straight contests (nine total)...Had 13 multi-RBI games including a season high five RBI on May 4 vs. Durham...Was released by the New York Yankees on Aug. 18 & one day later signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox & was assigned to Pawtucket of the International League (AAA)...In 13 games with Pawtucket, hit .208 (11-53) with two home runs & nine RBI.
