At Triple-A Reno, hit .303 (20-for-66) with 8 doubles, 2 homers and 39 RBI with runners in scoring position...Went 5-for-6 with 3 doubles, 2 RBI and 5 runs scored on June 4 @ Tacoma...Hit .333 (23-for-69) with 6 doubles and 11 RBI over 19 games in June...Placed on the disabled list on July 4 with a right ring finger laceration...Reinstated from the disabled list on July 16...Following the season, played for Estrellas de Oriente in the Dominican Winter League...in 23 games, hit .283 (17-for-60) with 6 doubles and 7 RBI.
2008
Opened the season with Double-A Harrisburg, where he played in 7 games before being transferred to Triple-A Columbus on April 11...Had a 7-game hit streak (.348, 8-for-23) from July 7-13.
2007
Scored a season-high 3 runs on April 23...Had a 10-game hit streak (.342, 13-for-38) from May 21-31.
2006
Spent his 9th and final season in the Baltimore Orioles organization, playing mainly for Triple-A Ottawa, but also had 3 stints with the Orioles...batted .313 in his first 30 games with the Lynx to earn a promotion to Baltimore on May 12, when Chris Gomez was placed on the disabled list...went 3-for-10 (.300) in 4 games with the Birds before being sent back to Ottawa on May 23...returned to the Orioles on June 3 and that day made his first career start in left field vs. New York...started at third base for the first time on June 25 vs. Washington...was optioned to Ottawa on June 12 when Jay Gibbons was activated from the D.L., but recalled 2 days later when Gibbons was sidelined again...was used as a pinch-hitter 4 times and as a pinch-runner 3 times with Baltimore...played 4 games at second base, 4 games at third base, 3 games in left field and one game at both shortstop and right field...was optioned to Ottawa after the final game of the first half and spent the remainder of the season with the Lynx...hit .305 after his return to Ottawa, including .368 with 2 homers and 10 RBI in 18 games in July.
2005
Spent most of the season at AAA Ottawa before joining the Orioles in September ... Contract was purchased by the Orioles on September 6 and he appeared in 8 games, 7 as a pinchrunner ... Scored a run in his 2nd game on September 13 at Texas ... Homered in his only at-bat of the season, connecting on a 2-run home run off Alan Embree in the 9th inning of the Orioles' 11-3 loss to New York on September 26 ... Was the only player in the majors to homer in his only at-bat of the season ... The home run was his first major league hit ... Previously, had 3 at-bats in 5 games in 2002 ... With Ottawa, batted .347 (26-75) in July and .364 (8-22) in September but did not hit above .253 in any other month ... Hit .311 (69-222) at home but .211 (44-209) on the road ... Was batting .208 through June 3, but hit .292 (81-277) beginning June 4 through the end of the season ... Was 2nd on Ottawa with 125 games played ... Played 67 games at shortstop, 31 games at third base, 25 at second base and one game in the outfield ... Had a season-high 4 hits on July 15 vs. Pawtucket ... Hit 3 of his 7 home runs during a 4-game span, August 4-9 ... Finished the year with a season-high 7-game hitting streak, batting .419 (13-31), to increase his average from .250 to .262 ... Also had a 6-game hit streak, July 14-20, batting .458 (11-24) ... Went 4-for-4 on July 15 vs. Pawtucket ... Was outrighted to AAA Ottawa on October 7 and re-signed to a minor league contract on November 1.
2004
Spent the season at AA Bowie and was 2nd on the team with 124 games played ... Tied for 6th in the Eastern League and led Bowie with 33 doubles ... Also led the team with 20 stolen bases ... Finished tied for 2nd in the Eastern League and tied for the team lead with Gary Cates with 15 sac bunts ... Split the season primarily between third base (66 games) and second base (50 games), but also spent time at shortstop (15 games) ... Played one game in center field ... Batted .370 (64-173) as a second baseman but only .253 (64-253) at third base ... Had back-to-back 3 hit games, 5/17-5/18, with 2 doubles in each game, starting a stretch in which he hit safely in 14 of 16 games ... Went 30-for-69 (.435) over that stretch to raise his average from .255 to .315 ... His average fell to .266 through 8/5, but he rebounded to hit .345 (38-110) over his last 26 games.

Spent most of the season at AA Bowie and finished 2nd among Oriole farmhands with 27 stolen bases ... Missed most of the first month of the season with a strained lower back...Batted .342 (13-38) over a 10-game stretch, 5/11-20 ... Hit safely in 9 of 11 games before being placed on the disabled list on 6/16 with a sprained left ankle ... Played in 3 games on a rehab assignment at Class A Aberdeen and returned to the Baysox on 6/29 ... Hit a grand slam vs. New Britain on 8/1 ... Scored a run in 6 straight games, 7/30-8/4, and drove in at least one run in 5 straight games, 8/3-8.

Spent the season at AA Bowie and set career-highs with 59 runs, 11 home runs and 57 RBI and led the Baysox with 26 doubles ... Was recalled from Bowie on September 3 at the end of the Baysox season, his first time in the majors ... Saw action in 5 games, going hitless in 3 at-bats ... Entered defensively 4 times and pinch-hit once ... Made his major league debut on September 5 vs. Texas, going 0-for-1 and making 3 plays in the field after entering at shortstop in the 6th inning ... Turned a double play in his 2nd big league appearance on September 19 vs. Toronto ... Was added to the 40-man roster in November 2001, but visa problems kept him from attending spring training until mid-March ... At Bowie, went 19-for-35 (.543) with 5 doubles, a triple and 2 homers during a 9-game hitting streak, April 27-May 6, raising his average from .222 to season-high .337 ... Had a 4-for-5 outing on May 3 at Altoona, starting a 4-game stretch in which he went 12-for-19 ... Had a season-high 11-game hitting streak July 14-24, hitting .356 (16-45) to raise his average from .263 to .278 ... Scored at least one run in 7 straight games, August 12-18 ... Batted .290 (18-62) over his final 16 games.
2001
Began the season at Bowie but struggled at the plate and was sent to Class A Frederick in early June ... Hit a combined .236 (114-483) with 30 doubles, 4 triples and 8 home runs ... His 30 doubles were 3rd-best and his 28 steals were 5th-best among Orioles minor leaguers ... Had 3 hits on 4/8 at Harrisburg to raise his average to .313 (5-16) after 4 games with Bowie ... Five games later, he fell to .188 and his average was never higher than .201 after that while with the Baysox ... Was batting .145 on 5/1 ... Hit safely in 20 of his next 27 games, batting .248 (26-105) before being sent to Frederick on 6/8 ... Had 9 multi-hit games in his first 18 games at Frederick and was batting .347 (25-72) through 7/1 ... Hit .216 in July and .248 in August to finish at .260 ... Despite missing 2 months of the season, was tied for 3rd on the Keys squad with 20 doubles and 41 RBI ... Was named the Orioles' 5th-best prospect by
Baseball America.

Combined to bat .276 (105-381) between Class A Delmarva and AA Bowie after beginning the season on the disabled list with a sprained left thumb ... Batted .414 (24-58) in 13-game stretch, 4/29-5/17 ... Stole bases in 4 consecutive games in which he played, 5/5-13 ... Went 0-for-21 with 8 strikeouts over 5 games, 5/18-23 ... Was promoted to Bowie on 6/2 and became the youngest player in Baysox franchise history (18) ... Hit safely in his first 4 and last 5 games he played with the Baysox ... Led Rookie League Gulf Coast League Orioles in hits (51), walks (23) and stolen bases (20) and was 2nd in runs (34), games (53) and at-bats (177) ... Had an 11-game hitting streak, 7/5-7/15, batting .436 (17-39) ... Began the season with the San Pedro Orioles in the Dominican Summer League and led the team with a .447 average (17-38) and 3 home runs.
