First decision was a victory on June 20 at Clearwater after holding the Phillies to one run over 5.0 innings... Twice had starts of 6.0 innings, July 21 and 31... On July 31 suffered his second loss after a complete game effort (6.0IP) in game one of a doubleheader... Following that start was promoted to Tennessee where he made six starts and was 3-1 with a 3.63 ERA... Won first two starts with the Smokies... On August 13 vs Mobile tossed a season high 8.0 shutout innings allowing just three hits... On August 19 at West Tenn struck out a season high seven batters in 5.2 innings... Made pro baseball debut with Dunedin of the Florida State League (A) and posted a 4-3 record in 16 games, five starts...Posted one save...Left-handed batters hit .226 (7-31) with two doubles and nine strikeouts.
