2006
Started the season with Richmond (AAA) in Atlanta's minor league system...made only two appearances (both starts) coming April 4 and 12, before being released by the Braves on April 17...Atlanta sold his contract to the Orix Buffaloes of Japan's Pacific Baseball League...Posted a 1-6 record with a 5.31 ERA for Orix, making 14 appearances (10 starts)...made his first appearance for Orix on May 14 against the Yakult Swallows, receiving the loss...after losing his first two starts, earned his first and only win of the season against the Hiroshima Toyo Carp on May 24...lost his next four starts before being removed from the rotation following a 2-1 loss to the Chiba Lotte Marines on August 16...Orix finished the season in fifth place in the Pacific League with a 52-81-3 record.
2005
Started the season on the Brewers' 25-man roster and went 1-4 with a 5.26 ERA in 23 games. ... Made his first five appearances in the relief role before making his first start on 4/30 vs. Cincinnati, when he struck out a season-high five batters (no decision). ...
