2002

Began the season with Double-A Norwich, going 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA in 12 games...was transferred to Tampa of the Florida State League, going 2-2 with a 1.98 ERA and nine saves in 46 appearances...ranked first in the FSL for a second straight season with 12.8 strikeouts per 9.0IP and third in the league, holding opponents to a .174 average.

Pitched in 32 games out of the bullpen with Tampa (FSL), going 7-1 with a 1.46 ERA...ranked first in the FSL with 14.05 strikeouts per 9.0IP, third with a .155 batting average against, and fourth with 8.76 base-runners per 9.0IP...allowed only 27 hits in 49.1IP, striking out 77 and walking 18 batters...pitched in one game for Double-A Norwich (1.0IP, 1ER).
