Hit .276 (8-for-29) with three RBI in a total of 12 Major League games between Colorado and Pittsburgh, but spent a majority of season with Colorado Springs (Rockies' AAA) where he made 47 appearances behind the plate and two at first base...Began season with Colorado Springs...Had contract selected by Colorado on June 17...Was optioned to Colorado Springs on July 15 after appearing in 7 games for the Rockies...Was designated for assignment on September 11 and claimed off waivers by Pittsburgh on 9/14 and added to their big league roster...Singled as a pinch hitter while making debut with Pirates on Sept. 17...Made two starts behind the plate for the Pirates...Off LHP at AAA Colorado Springs had a .548 slugging pct. and .851 OPS.

2010

Spent the entire Minor League season with Triple-A Memphis in the Cardinals organization...was then part of St. Louis' September call-ups and played 15 games for St. Louis in the season's final month...Hit .359 (14-for-39) with 2 doubles, one home run and 10 RBI for St. Louis...saw playing time in all four games of the club's final 4-game series vs. COL, and went 5-for-12 with 5 RBI in the series...Hit .242 (50-for-207) with 11 doubles, one home run and 21 RBI in 68 games with the Memphis Redbirds...was his fourth straight season playing for Triple-A Memphis.

2009

Played in 86 games for Memphis (AAA) before receiving a call-up to St. Louis (9/23) appearing in six games...Walked in first ML plate appearance at CIN (9/29)...Scored first run in final game of the season vs. MIL (10/4), reaching by error and scoring on a bases loaded walk to Matt Holliday. Played in three games with the Redbirds before joining the Springfield roster (AA) for the remainder of the season...appeared in 68 games for Springfeld, 59 behind the plate and committed only two errors...threw out 28 of 70 attempted basestealers at Springfield (40%)...pitched 2.1 scoreless innings and earned the win in a 13-inning contest 7/14 at Tulsa.

2006

Spent the entire season at Single-A Palm Beach...Threw out 41 of 87 opponents attempting to steal (47%), 5thbest in the Florida State League.

2005

Started the season in Palm Beach (A) and had a stint in Springfield (AA) from 7/14-8/22...had a pair of four-hit games, on 4/9 vs. JUP and 7/2 vs. JUP...batted .286 with runners in scoring position and two outs at Palm Beach.

2004

Caught 73 games while spending the entire season at Single-A Peoria...used as a pitcher on 9/6 at Beloit and allowed one hit while fanning one in a scoreless inning of relief to earn a save.

2003

Spent his first professional season with the Cardinals' short-season New Jersey club where he caught 58 games...Led all New York-Penn League catchers by throwing out 51% (35-of-69) of base stealers...Selected by STL in the 8th round of 2003 draft (245th overall).
