2018

In his first season with the Reds posted a 2.53 ERA, the second-lowest of his career, in 57 relief apps...the Reds went 30-27 in games in which he pitched...stranded 25-28 inherited base runners, the best percentage on the staff (89%)...16 times threw more than 1.0 inning, 8 times threw at least 2.0 innings and twice threw a season-high 2.1 innings (5/12 at LAD, 7/27 vs Phi, both scoreless)...on 9/30 vs Pit, in the Reds' season finale, made the 500th appearance of his Major League career...began the season on the 10-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation...came off the DL after making 3 rehab apps for Louisville from 4/20-4/25..in the bottom of the fourth inning on 4/27 at Min made his Reds debut and earned the 15-9 victory after the Reds scored 6 runs in the top of the fifth to take a 10-8 lead...won his first 5 decisions, the longest winning streak of his career and the longest by a Reds pitcher in 2018...in the 5-3 win on 5/12 at LAD, retired 7 of his 8 batters and didn't allow a run over a season-high 2.1 innings...was his longest relief appearance since a career-high 2.2 innings on 6/6/09 for Bal at Oak...also threw 2.1 innings on 7/27 vs Phi, also scoreless...on 7/7 at Cubs allowed a home run to Javier Báez leading off the seventh inning, snapping Hernandez' 32-inning homerless streak...was Hernandez' first HR allowed since 9/23/17 for Ari vs Mia and the only homer he allowed in his first 31 apps and 36.0 innings of 2018...9 times pitched on consecutive days...never in his career pitched on 3 straight days.

2017

In 64 relief apps for the Angels and Diamondbacks posted a sterling 3.11 ERA...from 7/8-8/12 did not allow a run in 14 apps or 12.2 innings, both single-season career highs...that stretch spanned 8 apps for the Angels (8.2ip) and 6 apps for the Diamondbacks (4ip)...made 2 scoreless relief apps vs the Dodgers in the National League Division Series...went to spring training with the Giants as a non-roster invitee...was released on 3/24 and 3 days later was signed by the Braves to a minor league contract...on 4/24 was traded to the Angels and on 7/31 was traded to the Diamondbacks...became a free agent following the season...on 1/30/18 was signed by the Reds to a 2-year contract through the 2019 season.

2016

In his only season in Philadelphia ranked T19th in the National League with 70 apps...average 9.91 strikeouts per 9 innings...over 10 apps from 8/27-9/24 produced a season-best 10.2-inning scoreless streak...also had a 10-inning scoreless streak from 4/23-5/12 (7g, 13k, 1ibb).

2015

Began the season on the 15-day DL while recovering from Tommy John surgery; activated on 6/7...Posted a 3.07 ERA (5 ER, 14.2 IP) through his first 16 games...Did not allow more than three ER in any appearance...Averaged 8.82 SO/9.0 IP

2014

Missed the entire season following Tommy John surgery on his right elbow on March 24 (performed by Dr. James Andrews in Florida).

2013

Appeared in 62 games in his third season with Arizona, going 5-6 with 2 saves and a 4.48 ERA (31 ER in 62.1 IP). Posted a 3.41 ERA (12 ER in 31.2 IP) and a .170 average against at home, compared to a 5.58 ERA (19 ER in 30.2 IP) and .256 on the road. Right-handers hit .198 (25-for-126). Tossed 2.0 innings on April 27 vs. Rockies and June 12 @ Dodgers, his longest relief outings since May 18, 2011 vs. Braves (2.0 IP). Registered at least 1 strikeout in 16 straight games from July 12-Sept. 16 (19 SO), the second-longest streak of his career (19 from July 19-Aug. 31, 2012). Had a 2.63 ERA (8 ER in 27.1 IP) in 26 games from April 1-June 8, compared to 9.43 ERA (22 ER in 21.0 IP) in 22 games from June 11-Aug. 10. Optioned to Triple-A Reno on Aug. 10…posted a 0.93 ERA (1 ER in 9.2 IP) with 2 saves and 12 strikeouts in 9 outings with the Aces. 2007

Went 7-11 with a 4.95 ERA in 28 games (27 starts) for Frederick...Led the Carolina League with 168 strikeouts...Was named the Orioles Pitcher of the Month for April, going 2-2 with a 2.74 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 23.0 innings on the month...Earned the victory in his only playoff start, pitching 7.0 innings of one-run ball and striking out 6 in Game 1 of the Mills Cup Championship Series over Salem on September 8.

2006

Led Class-A Delmarva with 28 starts and 145.1 innings and tied for the team lead with 7 victories...Ranked 4th in the South Atlantic League with 154 strikeouts...Allowed 4 earned runs in 39.2 innings in his 7 wins and pitched to a 5.37 ERA (105.2IP, 63ER) in his other 21 outings...Posted a 2.81 ERA in 5 starts in May.

Spent his first pro season at Class-A Aberdeen and held right-handed hitters to a .193 average...Made his first 4 appearances in relief...Allowed 2 earned runs or less in 6 of his 8 starts...Pitched 6.0 scoreless innings and allowed one hit while striking out a season-high 12 batters in his final start of the year on September 4 at Staten Island.
