Signed by Texas as a free agent, January 12...was an invite to the Rangers Spring Training and reported to Triple-A Oklahoma...Hit three home runs in a two-game span, April 16-17, including two on April 16 at Memphis...Placed on the disabled list with a strained left oblique muscle, May 4...played in three games with the AZL Rangers on rehab assignment and was reinstated from the DL, June 29...Hit safely in 16 straight games, July 18-August 1 and finished July batting .339 (37-for-109) with 10 doubles, one triples, two home runs, 11 rbi and 13 runs scored in 27 games...Hit two triples, August 5 and Salt Lake City, becoming the first RedHawk in eight years to have two triples in a game.
2009
Spent nearly the entire season at Triple-A Salt Lake during an injury-plagued campaign that limited him to 107 games for the Bees...batted .245 (95-388) with 27 doubles, 13 homers and 69 RBI...also tallied 57 runs...appeared in 83 games at first base, 12 at third base, and 13 as designated hitter...posted a .330 (31-94) average against lefties, but hit just .218 (64-294) vs. right-handers... batted .294 after the All-Star break...hit a 3-run walk-off homer on May 14 vs. Omaha...clubbed a pair of home runs with a season-high 5 RBI on May 16 vs. Iowa...was on the disabled list from July 1 (retroactive to June 30) to July 23 with left elbow inflammation... appeared in 3 games with the Arizona League Angels on a rehab assignment from July 21-23, going 4-for-10 with 2 RBI...following his DL stint, combined to hit .314 (37-118) with 3 homers and 23 RBI over August and September (31 games)...was non-tendered by the Angels prior to the Dec. 12 deadline and became a free agent.
2008
Spent majority of season with triple-A Salt Lake and batted .320 (128/400) to finish 10th in Pacific Coast League rankings... Had 33 doubles, four triples, 21 home runs and 67 RBI in 97 games...Named Angels' Organization Player of Month in April, when he hit .425 (45/106) and led Minor Leagues in total bases (80), extra-base hits (20, tied) and runs scored (26) and ranked third in Minors in batting average and hits and fifth in slugging (.755)...Played in Triple-A All-Star Game in Louisville, Ky., where he had two hits, an RBI and was named the PCL's Player of the Game...Named to PCL Post-Season All-Star Team and also named PCL Player of Week for April 3-13....Had three stints with Angels and batted .053 (1/19) with 3 RBI in 11 games...Recalled April 30 and appeared in two games (1/5)...Two-run double in 9th inning, May 1 vs. Oakland, marked first ML hit, first extra-base hit and first RBI of career...Optioned to Salt Lake following the game...Also recalled May 12 (optioned May 22nd) and Sept. 8...One of two Angels (also Kevin Jepsen) selected to play for bronze medal-winning Team USA in 2008 Beijing Olympics (the Olympic Opening Ceremonies were same day as his 26th birthday)...Batted .281 (9/32) with two home runs and team-leading 10 RBI in nine games, including three RBI in bronze-medal win over Japan.
2007
Made his major league debut, appearing in a total of 4 games over 2 stints with the Angels (0-for-5)...was with the big league club from May 9-14 and from July 30- Aug. 16...major league debut came on May 10 vs. Cleveland as defensive replacement at third base...made a notable game-ending defensive play with two-on and two-out to preserve Kelvim Escobar's shutout...first major league start came at third base on Aug. 3 at Oakland...spent the rest of the season at Triple-A Salt Lake and finished 2nd on Bees with 19 homers and 4th with 60 RBI...hit 9th-inning, walk-off homer on July 4 vs. Colorado Spring.

Spent the full season at Double-A Arkansas and led the Travelers in hits (149), runs (77), at-bats (515) and games (134)...ranked 3rd in Texas League with 41 doubles and 5th in XBH (63)...named Texas League Player of the Week for July 10-16...added to Angels 40-man roster in November.
2005
Was promoted to Single-A Rancho Cucamonga and spent the entire season with the Quakes...ranked 2nd on the team with 39 doubles and 5th with 65 RBI.
2004
Spent the year at Single-A Cedar Rapids...ranked 3rd in the Midwest League with 23 homers and 5th with 82 RBI, establishing new career highs in both categories...was named to the Midwest League All-Star Team and earned MWL Player of the Week honors for May 10-16.
2003
Split the season between rookie-level Provo and Single-A Cedar Rapids...combined to hit .257 (102- 397) with 14 homers and 67 RBI...led Provo with 11 homers, 3rd in the Pioneer League...was T2nd in league with 52 RBI...helped Provo to South Division title and appearance in the Pioneer League Championship Series...named Pioneer League Player of the Week (Aug. 11-17) and Post-Season All-Star Honorable Mention.

Split season between rookie entries Arizona and Provo, combining to hit .327 (67-205) with 2 homers and 33 RBI...helped Provo to Pioneer League South Division Crown.
