2013

Began the season with Buffalo before having two separate stints with Toronto…Appeared in three games for the Blue Jays posting a 6.75 ERA (3ER/6.0 IP). Made his Toronto debut May 10 at BOS allowing one earned run over 1.2 IP. Recorded six strikeouts over the 4.0 IP for the Blue Jays. Appeared in 36 games with the Buffalo Bisons (AAA)…Allowed 17 earned runs over 59.2 IP (2.56 ERA)…Led Buffalo with six holds on the year. Right-handers hit just .161 against him while with the Bisons. Played winter ball in the Dominican Republic, going 2-0 with three saves and a 0.64 ERA in 14 relief appearances.

2012

The 26-year old rookie began the season in Triple A OKC's bullpen before making 26 appearances for the Astros...After his arrival in Houston on Aug. 3, ranked T-4th in innings pitched and 9th in strikeouts among NL relievers...Led the club in percentage of swings that miss (30.1%) by generating 74 misses on 246 total swings...Was struck by a line drive on Sept. 12 vs CHC and left the game due to contusions in his right hand and jaw...Prior to the injury on Sept. 12, had a 3.00 ERA (8ER/24IP) with 25 strikeouts over 18 appearances...Made 38 appearances (two starts) with Triple A OKC, going 7-4 with a 3.05 ERA (22ER/65IP) and 72 strikeouts... Gave up just 14 walks and led the club in wins and ranked 2nd in strikeouts...Was named the club's Pitcher of the Month for both June and July.

2011

Began the season playing in the Texas League (AA) with Midland...Posted a 4.03 ERA over 27 games with four saves...Worked a total of 38.0 IP issuing just 13 walks and fanned 31 over that span...Traded to the Houston Astros in exchange for future considerations on June 30, 2011...Assigned to Oklahoma City of the Pacific Coast League (AAA)...With OKC owned a 3.99 ERA in 23 games and collected two saves... Struck out 28 batters over 29.1 IP.

2010

Among all Oakland farmhands ranked 6th in saves...Played for Bravos de Margarita of the Venezuelan League in the Winter League.

2009

Led Oakland Athletics farmhands with 18 saves...Played in the Arizona Fall League.

2008

Made his professional debut with the A's rookie league team (Arizona)...Fanned 23 batters over 22.0 innings in 14 relief appearances.
