Was the starting first baseman for the Toronto Blue Jays on April 3 at Tampa Bay and appeared in 10 games for the Blue Jays before being suspended 80 games on April 22 for violating MLB's Joint Drug and Treatment program after testing positive for Turinabol...Began a rehab assignment in Dunedin on July 13 and was designated for assignment and outrighted on July 23 when his suspension ended... He spent the last 40 games of the season at AAA Buffalo... Declared free agency on December 6.
