Made a career-high 24 starts, all with Double-A Bowie, going 6-10, 4.73 ERA (65 ER/123.2 IP) with 54 walks and 71 strikeouts... Led the Baysox in wins, tied for the lead in games started, fnished second in innings pitched, and was third in strikeouts... Recalled on 7/9 by the Orioles but did not make an appearance and was optioned back to Double-A Bowie after 7/10's game... Tossed his frst career complete game 5 24 at Hartford, when he went 6.0 innings, surrendering three runs on seven hits with three walks and two strikeouts, suffered the loss as Bowie fell 3-0... Won three consecutive starts, 6/10-25, tossing 17.0 innings while allowing just four runs... Worked at least 5.0 innings in 19 of his starts...Struck out at least one batter in all but one of his starts...
