Split the 2023 season between Detroit and Triple A Toledo, appearing in 17 games with the Tigers and 22 games with the Mud Hens...Made his Tigers debut on April 1 at Tampa Bay...marked his first appearance in a Major League game since Sept. 20, 2019...struck out Randy Arozarena for his 100th big league strikeout...Earned the win on April 3 at Houston, pitching a scoreless 10th inning with one strikeout...marked his first big league win since July 6, 2019 at Los Angeles (NL)...Sidelined from April 22, retroactive to April 19-July 9 with right shoulder tendinitis...Tied a career high with 2.0 perfect innings in relief with two strikeouts on Sept. 18 at Los Angeles (NL).

Missed most of the season while recovering from July 2020 "Tommy John" surgery to repair the torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow...From 8/14-8/23 made three rehab appearances, including one start, at the Padres' Arizona Complex League affiliate...Following the season elected free agency...On 12/1 was signed by the Reds to a minor league contract with an invitation to 2022 Major League Spring Training camp

2020

Was held out of action in SD's Major League Spring Training with right shoulder inflammation...shut down with irritation in his elbow in summer camp and ultimately underwent Tommy John surgery in mid-July.

2019

Made his first-career Opening Day roster and spent the majority of the season with SD, ranking 2nd in the SD bullpen in opponent AVG (.187) and holds (16) and 3rd in appearances (51)...Earned his 1st-career save in his 7th outing of the season on April 11 at ARI...Owned a career-best 6.1-innings scoreless streak from April 20-30 during which hitters went 1-for-19 (.053) with 2 BB and 8 SO...Missed 13 games while on the 10-Day Injured List with a right shoulder strain from May 5 (retro: May 4) to May 18...Recorded his 1st ML decision (a loss) on June 11 at SF after giving up 3 ER on 2 hits and 2 BB in 1.0 IP…recorded a losing decision in 2 consecutive appearances from July 14-18...earned his 1st-career ML win on July 6 at LAD after pitching 1.1-scoreless innings...Optioned to El Paso (AAA) on July 21 where he tossed 3.1-scoreless innings across 3 relief appearances before being recalled on July 31…was optioned for the 2nd time in 2019 on August 29 to Amarillo (AA) before being recalled again on Sept. 8...Prior to the All-Star break, he posted a 3.44 ERA while holding opponents scoreless in 25 of his 34 games… posted a 10.06 ERA while holding opponents scoreless in just 10 of his 17 games after the ASG...Made his 1st professional start on August 28 vs. LAD after 68 ML relief outings and 143 MiLB outings…gave up 3 runs (earned) off 1 hit and 2 BB in 1.1 IP with 2 SO...Posted a 3.08 ERA with 38 SO and a .157 opponent AVG over 26 games on the road, while he pitched to a 8.39 ERA with 34 SO and a .215 AVG over 25 games at home...In 10 games vs. the NL Central, he posted a 1.54 ERA (2 ER, 11.2 IP) with a .083 opponent AVG and 17 SO against 7 BB...Lefties hit .140 while righties hit .236…4 of the 5 HR he allowed came off RHB...Opponents hit .141 off his slider with 46 of his 72 SO, posting a 41.8 SO% and a 46.9 whiff % off this pitch...His 36.2% swing and miss rate finished the season as the highest on the pitching staff and his 6.00 H/9 rate finished 1st among active pitchers on the club.

Wingenter (pronounced WING-enter) spent the majority of the season with El Paso (AAA) before making his ML debut with SD on 8/7...made 22 appearances out of the Padres bullpen...Posted a 3.45 ERA (17 ER, 44.1 IP) and ranked second among ELP relievers in appearances (40) and SO (53), third in saves (four) and fourth in IP (44.1)...Was scoreless in 15 of his final 16 outings with ELP, converting all six of his save opportunities while posting a 1.06 ERA (2 ER, 17.0 IP) with a .155 opponent average before earning his first big league call up on 8/5...Made his ML debut on 8/7 at MIL, recording the final three outs of SD's 11-5 win and retiring each of the three batters he faced...Struck out each of the three batters he faced on 9/12 at SEA...his three strikeouts were part of a franchise-best nine consecutive strikeouts among relievers, along with Jose Castillo, Robert Stock and Craig Stammen...Allowed two runs on just one occasion, one run six times and no runs 15 times... Spent the entire regular season with San Antonio (AA), earning several league honors throughout the year...Led the Texas League in saves after converting 20 of his 26 save opportunities and ranked second in games finished (37)...Named an MiLB.com Organizational All-Star for San Diego as well as a Texas League Mid-Season and Post-Season All-Star...Limited right-handed hitters to a .194 batting average while lefties hit just .192 against him...Posted a 1-1 record over 24 games at home with a 0.81 ERA (2 ER, 22.1 IP) and 35 SO against six BB...Received the first postseason action of his career, tossing a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in the Missions' 4-3 Game 2 victory to even the series against three-time defending champion Midland..blew the save in the club's 6-3 Game 4 loss, allowing two earned runs without recording an out...Promoted to El Paso (AAA) for their postseason run, tossing 3.0 scoreless innings over three appearances, allowing just one hit while striking out five and walking two.

2016

Split the season between Fort Wayne (A), Lake Elsinore (A) and San Antonio (AA), pitching to a combined 3-1 record and a 1.70 ERA (11 ER, 58.1 IP) with 65 SO against 20 BB over 39 relief appearances...Did not allow an earned run in his first eight appearances between Lake Elsinore and Fort Wayne...Went 2-0 over 16 appearances on the road with Lake Elsinore with a 1.17 ERA (3 ER, 23.0 IP) while he was 0-1 with a 2.95 ERA (7 ER, 21.1 IP) over 14 games at home...Twice tossed a career-high 3.0 scoreless innings.

2015

Split his first professional season between the AZL Padres (R) and Tri-City (A), posting a combined 1-2 record with a 7.23 ERA (15 ER, 18.2 IP) over 12 relief appearances...Earned his first professional win on 8/24 vs. AZL Brewers, working 2.0 scoreless innings in relief...Held opponents scoreless in four of his last five outings on the season.
