Timothy James Zeuch...Resides with his wife Lindsay, married in 2018, in Pittsburgh...Attended William Mason High School in Mason, Ohio where he lettered in both baseball and basketball...first person from Mason High School to play in the Majors...Originally selected by Kansas City in the 31st round of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft but chose to attend the University of Pittsburgh...Went 13-13 with a 3.33 ERA over 39 career appearances with Pittsburgh...was 6-1 with a 3.10 ERA over 10 starts his junior season...Became the third first round pick out of Pittsburgh in school history, the first since 1981, joining RHP Al Lachowicz (1981, 24th overall) and OF Fred Mazurek (1966, secondary phase, eighth overall)....Pitched for Chatham in the Cape Cod League in 2015, going 2-0 with a 1.31 ERA in four starts.

2022

Made three starts for Cincinnati after signing a Minor League contract with the Reds on June 3...Began the season in the St. Louis organization and made four starts with Triple-A Memphis before being designated for assignment on May 21...went 0-4 with a 11.64 ERA (19.1 IP, 25 ER) with the Redbirds...Cleared waivers on May 29 and signed with Cincinnati as a Minor League free agent on June 3...had his contract selected on Aug. 10 and made three starts for the Reds over two stints on the active roster Aug. 10- 24, going 0-3 with a 15.19 ERA (10.2 IP, 18 ER)...allowed five home runs with seven walks and five strikeouts...Placed on the 15-day injured list on Aug. 25 with an upper back strain...reinstated from the IL and released on Sept. 14...Went 0-1 with a 3.63 ERA (22.1 IP, 9 ER), 10 walks and 26 strikeouts in five starts with Triple-A Louisville...Signed by Colorado as a Minor League free agent, Dec. 13.

2021

Was acquired by the Cardinals in exchange for cash considerations on July 25 from the Toronto Blue Jays. Pitched the remainder of the 2021 season in Memphis (AAA)...One of 26 Major League players to appear in a game residing at 6-foot-7 inches during the season. Of the 26 players, 23 were pitchers, with Aaron Judge (NYY, OF), Taylor Jones (HOU, 1B/OF) and Oneil Cruz (PIT, SS) as the only position players. Aaron Slegers (LAA, RHP, 6'10) was the tallest...Appeared in 26 games during the season between Toronto (5), Buffalo (12) and Memphis (9)...Only appeared with the Blue Jays in a Major League game making three starts in his five appearances. Was 0-0 with a 4.91 ERA in his three starts and 0-2 with an 11.25 ERA in two relief appearances...Combined for a 4-3 record with a 5.23 ERA in 21 minor league appearances while making 14 starts. 2016

Threw 3.0 hitless innings in his pro debut with the GCL Blue Jays on July 9, 2016 (2K) ... Joined the Class-A (short) Vancouver Canadians for six starts and put together a 3.52 ERA ... Made the jump to Class-A Lansing for his final two starts of 2016...Was tagged with eight runs in 8.0 innings but recorded 14 strikeouts against two walks.

Tossed at least 4.0 innings in each of his five MLB outings while allowing three-or-fewer runs each time ... Was a non-roster invitee to Spring Training but did not pitch due to a lat strain ... Promoted to Double-A New Hampshire in May and made 21 starts for the Fisher Cats to round out his season ... Threw seven shutout frames on June 2 at Binghamton for his 1st career complete game shutout (3H, 4BB, 4K) ... Picked up Eastern League Pitcher of the Week on June 17 after hurling eight shutout innings with just two hits allowed in a 3-0 win on June 14 at Akron ... Was named a Mid-Season All-Star for the 1st time in his career ... Finished his Double-A regular season with a 9-5 record and a 3.08 ERA ... Made two starts in the postseason and allowed just one run across 12.0 innings (0.75 ERA) to help New Hampshire to an Eastern League Championship.
