Ryan Scott Aguilar....2023 marks first season as a non-roster invitee to Major League Spring Training....Graduated from Esperanza HS (Anaheim, Calif.), which is 10 miles from Angel Stadium....While attending University of Arizona, played in College World Series Championship Series in 2016....Played two seasons (2013-14) at Santa Ana College (Calif.) before transferring to Arizona for junior year in 2015...Earned Santa Ana College MVP and Gold Glove honors as a freshman and was named First Team All-Orange Empire Conference as a sophomore....Enjoys fishing and camping in his spare time....While in college, played for Cowlitz Black Bears in the collegiate summer West Coast League....Originally signed by Brewers scout Jeff Scholzen.

2022

Spent majority of season with Double-A Rocket City and led Southern League with a .415 OBP... Ranked sixth among all Southern League hitters with 66 walks...Was named Southern League Player of the Week for Aug. 15-21... Had contract selected by Angels, Aug. 26 as a substitute member of roster during series at Toronto and made Major League debut that night against Blue Jays...Totaled seven games for Angels across two Major League stints... First MLB hit was a double, Aug. 27 off of Alek Manoah (was thrown out at third trying for a triple)...Manoah later signed a baseball congratulating Aguilar on his first hit.
