His wife's name is Kasandra, and the couple were married in the 2022 offseason...Attended Oxnard College (Calif.) and Frontier (Calif.) HS... was primarily a catcher through high school...at Oxnard, he played catcher and third base in addition to pitching.

2024

Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A El Paso, while also making nine appearances for SD across five separate stints with the big league club...Went scoreless in five of his nine appearances for SD and allowed one earned run-or-fewer in seven of the nine…five of his nine ER came in one outing (Aug. 22 vs. NYM)…remove that outing, and his 7.15 season ERA was lowered to 3.56 across his other eight appearances...Did not walk any of his 49 batters faced in ’24 with SD and hit just one batter...Recalled from ELP on April 17 with Yu Darvish landing on the 15-day IL w/ neck tightness, which just so happened to be his 27th birthday...made his SD debut two days later on April 19, striking out both of his two BF in the top of the ninth of SD’s 5-1 defeat vs. TOR…optioned back to ELP April 20.

2023

Split the season between the Orioles and the Triple-A level, pitching to a 4.20 ERA (19 ER, 40.2 IP) in 38 appearances between Norfolk (AAA) in the BAL organization and Worcester (AAA) in the BOS org...Began the season with the Major League club, pitching in eight games before being optioned to Norfolk on April 19...was optioned and recalled three different times between BAL and Norfolk before being designated for assignment on Sept. 4...Made 11 total appearances for the Orioles in '23, owning a 6.00 ERA (6 ER, 9.0 IP) with a .350 opponent clip and eight strikeouts against five walks...with Norfolk, made 34 appearances overall for a 4.71 ERA (19 ER, 36.1 IP)...Per Statcast, he relied on four pitches at the MLB level in 2023: Four-Seam Fastball (44%), Slider (25.7%), Changeup (16.8%), and Curveball (13.6%)...his fastball averaged at 95.6 mph, and batters hit just .143 against his curveball...Was claimed off waivers by BOS from BAL on Sept. 4, and he was assigned to Worcester...Made four appearances with WOR, tossing 4.1 scoreless innings with just one hit allowed and a 0.92 WHIP and a .188 opponent clip...Was claimed off waivers by the Padres from Boston on Nov. 15.

Began the season with Double-A Bowie; transferred to Triple-A Norfolk on 5/3; recalled by Baltimore five times (5/17, 5/23, 7/28, 8/14, 9/26); optioned to Norfolk four times (5/21, 6/18, 7/29, and 8/19)...Made his MLB debut on 5/17 vs. NYY (2.0 IP, 3 H, K); fanned Kyle Higashioka for his first career strikeout...Earned his first win on 10/2 at NYY after working a scoreless sixth inning on one hit; also stranded an inherited runner in a tie game...Held left-handed batters to a .208 average (5-for-24) compared to .341 (15-for-44) against righties...Did not allow a run in six day appearances (5.2 IP)...Pitched to a 1.06 ERA (2 ER/17.0 IP) in 16 of 17 appearances; four of his six earned runs and eight total runs came in one outing on 6/13 at TOR (0.1 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 4 ER)...Surrendered just one MLB home run, pitching to a 0.52 HR/9...Went 6-3 with one save and a 4.78 ERA (23 ER/43.1 IP) with 46 hits, two homers, nine walks, one hit batter and 38 strikeouts in 28 combined MiLB games; made his Triple-A debut on 5/4 at Nashville.

2021

Signed by the Orioles as a minor league free agent on 6/9 and was assigned to High-A Aberdeen...Pitched in 11 games for the IronBirds, striking out 16 batters in 14.1 innings...Promoted to Double-A Bowie on 7/31 and finished out the season with the Baysox...Appeared in 15 games while at Bowie, striking out 36 batters in 27.1 innings...Struck out at least two batters in each of his final four outings, including a season-high seven batters on 9/19 vs. Altoona...Added to the 40-man roster on 11/19.
