Michael Siani…Played on USA Baseball’s gold medal team in 2017 at the 18U World Cup…Graduated from William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, where he was named the 2017-18 Gatorade Pennsylvania Baseball Player of the Year…Committed to play at the University of Virginia before signing with the Reds…His younger brother, Sammy, was selected by Pittsburgh with the 37th overall pick in the 2019 MLB Draft and is an outfielder in the Pirates organization…Along with youngest brother Jake, all three Sianis played for Penn Charter together in 2018.

2025

Began the season with St. Louis, playing 16 games and hitting .235 (4-for-17) with four runs and two walks...Was optioned on April 22 to Triple-A Memphis, where he spent the rest of the season...Had a perfect 5-for-5 performance (four singles, a triple and three RBI) vs. Nashville on May 18.

2024

Opened the season with Louisville (AAA) rated as the No. 18 prospect and best defensive outfielder in the Cincinnati organization by Baseball America...Had multi-hit performances in seven of 10 games from 7/5-21 while with Louisville, hitting .500 (16-32) with six doubles, a triple, a home run, eight RBI, 11 walks, 13 runs scored, four stolen bases and a 1.472 OPS during that stretch...Promoted to Cincinnati on 8/21 and saw time in three games with the Reds before being designated for assignment on 8/31...Claimed off waivers by St. Louis on 9/2 and played in 10 games with Memphis (AAA) before being promoted by the Cardinals on 9/22...Matched a season-high with three hits in his second game with Memphis on 9/8 at Nashville, going 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored...Appeared in five games with the Cardinals, all as a reserve (CF-3, DH-2)...Stole his first Major League base on 9/23 at San Diego as the back half of a double steal with Jordan Walker in the 11th inning after entering earlier in the inning as a pinch runner for Luken Baker.

For the Reds, made all seven of his starts in CF...started four of the last six games of the season...On 9/22 vs Mil started in CF in his Major League debut...became the 66th of 66 players to appear in a game for the Reds, extending the club record (2003, 57 players), the 23rd of 23 rookies to appear in a game and the 12th of 12 Reds players to make his Major League debut...On 9/27 at Pit recorded his first 2 Major League hits, both singles off Mitch Keller...left the game with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning after diving for a ball in the outfield...didn't miss a game...Began the season at Chattanooga...on 9/13 was promoted to Louisville.

2021

Spent the regular season at Dayton, where he ranked sixth in the High A Central with 30 stolen bases...made 75 starts in CF and 21 starts as the Dragons' designated hitter...Following the season played for the Surprise Saguaros in the prestigious Arizona Fall League (14g, .300, 3 2b, 1hr, 6rbi, 10sb, .451obp, .450slg, .901ops).

2020

Spent the season at the alternate training site as part of the Reds' 60-player pool Summer Camp roster...Was not on the Reds' 40-man Postseason roster.
