Marc Easton Church…attended North Atlanta (Ga.) High School…as a senior, had 40 strikeouts, 11 walks and a 2.62 ERA over 26.2 innings on the mound, while batting .397 with three home runs…pitched from age 9-13 before focusing only on shortstop…transitioned back to the mound during his junior year of high school…had committed to North Carolina A&T State University before signing with Texas.

2025

Named to his first career Opening Day roster after fanning 12 batters in 8.2 innings over eight relief appearances in Cactus League play…pitched in five games (all in relief) during lone stint with TEX from 3/27-4/15, owning a 3.86 ERA (2 ER/4.2 IP) with six BB/five SO…earned hold in season debut on 3/28 vs. BOS (0.1 IP, 1 H, 1 BB)…TEX was 2-3 in his outings…optioned to Round Rock on 4/16 and spent balance of campaign in Minors, totaling just eight appearances with Round Rock (six games), Rookie-level ACL Rangers (one game), and High-A Hub City (one game): 0-1, 9.82 ERA (8 ER/7.1 IP), 9 BB/10 SO…had two stays on Round Rock’s Injured List: 4/22-5/27 (left oblique strain) and 6/24-end of season (right elbow inflammation)…made one appearance while on rehab assignment with Hub City, 9/2 vs. ROM (1.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R-ER, 0 BB, 3 SO) – his final outing at any level in 2025.

2024

The righty made his MLB debut in a relief appearance on 9/28 at LAA, retiring three of four batters faced, including a swinging strikeout of the Halos’ Niko Kavadas for his first big league strikeout…was his lone MLB appearance of 2024 after being recalled from Triple-A on 9/27… spent the balance of the campaign in the minors, going 1-1 with a 4.21 ERA (12 ER/25.2 IP) in 20 G with Round Rock (AAA) and Hickory (A+)…was placed on the 7-day Injured List with a right shoulder strain which caused him to miss nearly four months…completed three-game rehab assignment at Hickory before his activation on 8/15…went 1-1 with a 3.06 ERA (6 ER/17.2 IP) over his final 13 games with the Express…converted each of his two save opportunities and posted a 4.05 ERA (3 ER/6.2 IP) with 1 BB/10 SO over seven games for Surprise of AFL following the regular season…notched save in Fall Stars Game, posting a scoreless ninth in A.L.’s 6-5 victory (2 H, 2 SO).

2023

Split 2023 campaign between Double-A Frisco and Triple-A Round Rock, combining to go 9-4 with two saves and 3.63 ERA (25 ER/62.0 IP) over 43 G/2 GS…began season with Frisco and pitched to a 2.08 ERA (3 ER/13.0 IP) over his first nine app. from 4/8-5/9 for the RoughRiders…fanned season-high 5 batters in 2.0-inning outing on 4/22 vs. ARK… appeared in 13 total games for Frisco (all in relief), going 2-3, 4.00 ERA (8 ER/18.0 IP) with 31 strikeouts to 10 walks, earning a promotion to Round Rock on 5/23…permitted two ER in consecutive relief outings for Round Rock on 5/28 and 5/31 (2) – his second and third AAA appearances, respectively – but did not permit multiple runs in consecutive outings over his next 23 games from 6/3-9/9, compiling a 5-0 mark with two saves and a 2.10 ERA (8 ER/34.1 IP) in that span…finished season with a record of 7-1 and 3.48 ERA (17 ER/44.0 IP) with 48 strikeouts and 28 walks in 30 G/2 GS for Round Rock…ranked highly among Round Rock pitchers in wins (T3rd) and games (sixth)…opposing RHB slashed .254/.369/.355/.724, while LHB slashed .224/.330/.412/.742 against the right-hander.

2022

Went 3-5 with a 4.22 ERA (23 ER/49.0 IP) and five saves over 37 relief appearances between Hickory (A+) and Frisco (AA)… posted a 15.09 strikeouts per 9.0 innings figure over 23 G with Hickory…earned the organization’s ‘Reliever of the Month’ award for April: 1-0, 0.00 ERA (1 R-0 ER/10.2 IP), 17 SO/2 BB in seven G... allowed .206 opp. BA vs. RHB, .296 vs. LHB across A+ and AA… struggled after promotion to Frisco on 6/29, posting a 7.20 ERA (12 ER/15.0 IP) over 14 G in his fist career Double-A action.
