Hit .277 (70x253) with 25 RBI in 66 combined games with Houston (65g) and Boston (1g)...started 57 games at shortstop and seven games at second base during his time with Houston...began the year at Boston's Triple A affiliate Pawtucket before being purchased from the minors on May 20...optioned back on May 24...recalled on June 26 and traded to Houston in exchange for C Kevin Cash on July 1...finished his campaign with the Astros...prior to being acquired by the Astros, spent most of 2010 with Pawtucket, where he hit .274 (61x223) in 62 games (most at SS) with 10 doubles, 17 RBI and six stolen bases... had a career-long, 10-game hitting streak from Aug. 31-Sept. 17, hitting .359 (14x39) during the run...was part of an all-rookie infield on Aug. 20 at FLA along with C Jason Castro, 1B Brett Wallace, SS Tommy Manzella and 3B Chris Johnson...was the first time a team started five rookies at those positions since Washington did so on Sept. 28, 2008 at PHI...had a career-day on Aug. 3 at STL, going 4x6 with six RBI and falling a homer shy of the cycle...became only the third rookie shortstop to have a four-hit, six-RBI game since 1920 (when RBI were first officially recorded)...J.J. Hardy did it for the Brewers in 2005 (also four hits and six RBI), and Travis Jackson had four hits and eight RBI for the New York Giants in 1923 (source: Elias)...marked the most RBI by an Astros rookie since J.R.
