Graduated from Jefferson (MN) High School...Learned much about baseball from fellow Minnesota native and family friend, Jim Eisenreich...Enjoys hunting, working out and ice fishing...Favorite movie is "Napoleon Dynamite".
2006
Began the season at Triple-A Nashville, where he went 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA in 4 starts before he was recalled by Milwaukee on 4/27...Went 0-2 with a 12.00 ERA in 4 games (3 starts) with the Brewers...Made his season debut for the Brewers on 5/2 vs. Houston and tossed 4.2 relief innings, allowing only an unearned run (4.2ip, 5h, 1r, 0er, 1bb, 4k, 1wp)...Made his last 3 appearances for Milwaukee as a starter, going 0-2 with a 19.64 ERA (7.1ip, 16er)...Made his first start on 5/6 at Los Angeles-NL and had no decision in the 5-4 loss (5ip, 4h, 3r, 3er, 4bb, 3k, 2wp)...Made his next start on 5/11 at San Diego and suffered an 8-5 loss (2.1ip, 7h, 7r, 7er, 3bb, 1k, 1wp)...His final start with the Brewers came on 5/20 vs. Minnesota in a 16-10 loss.....did not retire a batter as he allowed 6 runs on 5 hits and a walk.....was the 14th time in franchise history that a Brewers starting pitcher failed to retire a batter.....Hendrickson was the first to do it since Jamie McAndrew on 8/28/95 at Chicago-AL (injury) and Bill Wegman on 5/11/95 vs. Detroit...Was optioned back to Nashville on 5/21...Overall at Nashville went 9-8 with a 3.36 ERA in 23 starts...Was a Pacific Coast League All-Star...Suffered the loss in relief in the Triple-A All-Star Game (2ip, 3h, 3r, 0er, 1bb, 2k, 1hr, 1wp).

Spent the season with Triple A Nashville where he went 6-12 alongside a 4.97 ERA in 28 games/27 starts...his 27 starts were the third highest in the PCL...Voted "Best Curveball" in the Brewers organization by

...Snapped a two-game losing streak with a win in relief on April 29 vs. Omaha...pitched five innings allowing one run on two hits in the victory...Struck out season-high 10 batters on July 15 in game two of a doubleheader vs. Albuquerque...Tossed season-high 7.2 frames but did not factor in the decision on July 20 vs. Memphis...Pitched a six-inning complete game in his final contest of the season in the first game of a doubleheader on September 1 at Memphis...allowed one run, a solo homer, on seven total hits...Struck out 122 batters, the second highest total in his career, in 155.2 innings pitched...stood fifth in the PCL in strikeouts...Posted a 2.81 ERA along with a 1-2 record in six May starts...allowed only ten earned runs in 32.0 IP.

Earned the Robin Yount Performance Award for Minor League Pitcher of the Year...Also named Minor League Pitcher of the Month in April and June by the Brewers...Spent most of the season with Triple AIndianapolis where he was named Most Valuable Player by the International League . . . became the first Indy pitcher to garner the award since Fred Ackley in 1963...Named to the International League All-Star Team where he was the starting pitcher...Also named the starting pitcher of the International League Post-Season All-Star Squad...Led the circuit with a 2.02 ERA and tied for first with two shutouts...Posted an 11-3 mark with a 2.02 ERA (28 zER/125.0 IP) in 21 starts for the Indians...Was 6-1 with a 1.54 ERA at home (12 starts) and 5-2 with a 2.76 ERA in nine road starts...Recalled from Indy on June 1 and made his Major League debut on June 2 at Los Angeles...Struck out Edwin Jackson for his first Major League strikeout but suffered his first big league loss in the 5-2 decision...Optioned to Indy on June 4...Had his second stint with the Brewers after he was recalled on July 18...Went 0-3 with a 9.00 ERAin three starts after being recalled...Optioned to Indy again on August 1...Returned to Milwaukee for his third trip to the big leagues after he was recalled on August 14...Made a pair of starts in August going 0-2 with a 5.87 ERA...Optioned to Indianapolis on August 17 but made his final trip to Milwaukee after being recalled on August 30...Snapped career-high six-game losing streak with his first Major League victory on September 4 vs Cincinnati with a 7-3 win...also struck out career-high seven batters...Pitched career-best 6.2 innings twice; October 1 at St. Louis and August 30 vs Pittsburgh.

Spent the season at Double A Huntsville . . . finished the season with a 7-6 record and a 3.45 ERA in 17 games, 16 starts . . . won his fifth straight decision at the Double A level dating back to the 2002 campaign on April 4 vs Jacksonville . . . was shutdown after four starts and placed on the disabled list with right elbow soreness . . . made his return to the mound on June 24 vs Carolina . . . pitched season-high seven innings on June 30 vs Birmingham . . . won both of his starts in June etching a 1.38 ERA . . . equaled season mark tossing seven frames on July 17 at Mobile . . . made his first relief appearance since 2000 on July 28 at Chattanooga . . . pitched five scoreless innings picking up the win . . . made an early exit after just one inning of work on August 8 at West Tennesee experiencing stiffness and trouble getting loose . . . rebounded in his next outing on August 14 defeating Chattanooga behind six scoreless frames . . . posted an 0-2 record and a 4.38 ERA in two post-season starts . . . ranked as the eighth best prospect in the Brewers farm system by Baseball America . . . participated in the Arizona Fall League for the Peoria Saguaros.

Divided his time between Class A High Desert and Huntsville . . . began the season at High Desert where he posted a 5-5 record and a 2.55 ERA in 14 starts . . . made eight quality starts with the Mavericks . . . pitched well away from home posting a 3-1 record and a 1.31 ERA in seven starts . . . pitched season-high seven innings in four consecutive starts May 23 - June 8 . . . posted a 2-1 mark and a 1.83 ERA in three June starts prior to getting promoted to Huntsville . . . made his Double A debut on June 24 losing to Birmingham . . . scoreless in three straight outings July 14 - 25 spanning 18.0 innings . . . concluded July with a 1-1 record and a 1.55 ERA in five starts . . . picked up his first win with the Stars July 25 at Jacksonville . . . won each of his last four decisions.
