Brady Matthew Feigl…has often been mistaken for another pitcher named Brady Feigl, who was drafted by Oakland in the 2018 draft…both are red-haired, have distinct red beards, and wear similar glasses on the mound…in another similarity, both Brady Feigls had 'Tommy John' surgery performed by Dr. James Andrews…Oakland's Brady Feigl underwent the procedure during his freshman year at Ole Miss, and Texas' Brady Feigl had surgery in April 2015 while pitching in the Atlanta organization…during the 2018 season, the duo met for the 1st time while being featured in a segment on the CBS program Inside Edition.

Was taken by SD from TEX in the minor league portion of the Rule 5 Draft in December 2019...did not appear in the Padres' 60-man player pool during the 2020 regular season.

2019

Received a non-roster invite to the Rangers' Major League Spring Training...Spent the majority of the campaign at Nashville (AAA), going 2-0 with a 3.43 ERA (8 ER, 21.0 IP) and 24 SO against 3 walks across 14 relief app...Missed some time on the 7-day IL from May 23-July 13... made 2 rehab outings with the AZL Rangers (R), allowing 0 earned runs across 2.0 IP.

2018

Combined to go 6-1 with a 1.53 ERA (10 ER/58.2 IP) in 42 G with Round Rock and Double-A Frisco…opened season with 16.1 scoreless innings for the RoughRiders before earning promotion to Round Rock on 5/16…opposing batters went 7-for52 (.135) in his outings with Frisco…allowed runs in just 9 of 31 G with Round Rock…established career bests in wins (6), games (42), and saves (4)…averaged 5.7 SO/9, the lowest rate of his career…his 2.13 ERA with Round Rock ranked T5thlowest in the PCL (min. 40 IP)…was one of 6 minor league pitchers to pitch in 42-or-more G without allowing a home run… overall, limited opposition to .234/.289/.287/.576 slash line, .217 (15-69) by LHB and .243 (34-140) by RHB…with runners on base, opponents hit .191 (18-94) with one XBH (2B)
