Brian Shawn Myrow...Wife's name is Terra...Has two sons; Tyler (9/21/02) and Dylon (8/16/06)...Is a 1995 graduate of Burleson (TX) High School...Also attended Louisiana Tech University, where he earned All-Sun Belt Conference accolades as a second baseman his junior and senior seasons in 1998 and 1999...Batted .337 with 66 RBI and a conference-leading 21 home runs in 1998 and .339 with 14 homers and 41 RBI in 1999.

Spent the majority of the season with Class AAA Portland and hit .314 (103-328) with 23 doubles, 12 home runs and 59 RBI in 97 games ... led the Pacific Coast League with 81 walks and a .451 on-base percentage ... set a PCL record by reaching base safely in 14 consecutive plate appearances from 6/10-13 ... was recalled by San Diego on 7/8 and batted .143 (3-21) with a home run and three RBI in 21 games ... was 3-17 (.176) as a pinch-hitter, including his first major-league home run on 7/8 vs. Florida (off Logan Kensing) ... went 1-16 (.063) in his fi nal 16 games before being optioned to the Beavers on 8/22 ... hit .217 (20-92) with six home runs and 19 RBI in 29 games with Mazatlan of the Mexican Pacific Winter League ... signed by the White Sox as a free agent on 11/26 (acquisition recommended by Bill Young).

Appeared in 19 games for the Dodgers, marking his first appearance in the Major Leagues...went 4-for-20 (.200) with one double...spent the majority of the season at Triple-A Las Vegas prior to his Sept. 6 call-up...had both of his potential first Major League RBIs thrown out at home plate...registered his first Major League hit, a double, on Sept. 11 vs. San Diego's Scott Linebrink...went 3-for-11 (.273) with three walks as a pinch-hitter.

After joining Triple-A Las Vegas on June 16, batted .359 in 50 games for the 51s, compiling six homers, two triples, 15 doubles, 29 RBI and 29 runs scored...appeared in 26 games at first base, 13 in left field and two in right field...had four four-hit games and a pair of grand slams for Las Vegas...began season with Triple-A Columbus in the Yankees system and hit .268 with three homers, three triples, 12 doubles and 15 RBI in 47 contests...collected three doubles in April 19 game at Durham...played for Escogido in the Dominican Winter League and ranked third in the league in on-base percentage (.412) and fifth in runs scored (27)...overall, batted .257 with three homers and 22 RBI while drawing 39 walks in 187 plate appearances.
2003
Spent the entire season with Class AA Trenton and batted .306 (141-461) with 31 doubles, eight triples, 18 homers and 78 RBI in 137 games ... led the Eastern League in runs scored (99) and extra-base hits (57) and ranked second in walks (107), slugging (.525) and on-base percentage (.447) ... the 107 walks established a club record ... appeared in 86 games at third base, 24 at second, 16 in left field and 15 as the designated hitter ... was named to the EL midseason All-Star Team and won the Home Run Derby ... named the EL Player of the Week for the period ending on 8/3 after hitting .480 (12-25) with two homers and seven RBI.

Combined to hit .291 (120-413) with eight homers and 70 RBI in 122 games with Class A Tampa and Class AA Norwich ... began the season with Tampa and hit .280 (63-225) in 61 games ... was on the disabled list from 6/10-22 with a lower back strain ... was promoted to Norwich on 6/22 and hit .303 (57-188) in 61 games.
