Spent his second straight full season at Triple-A Toledo, batting .258 (128-for-496) with 21 doubles, 25 home runs and 82 RBI...Named to International League midseason All-Star Team...Earned IL Player of the Week honors for Aug. 8-14.

2012

Combined to hit .252 (99-for-393) with 25 doubles, 14 home runs and 49 RBI between Triple-A Louisville (Reds) and Toledo (Tigers)...Began the season with the Bats and batted .230 (52-for-226) in 69 games...Signed by Tigers on July 16 as a Minor League free agent...Appeared in 47 games with Toledo and hit .281 (47-for-167) with 7 home runs and 25 RBI.

2011

Hit .248 (111-for-448) with 30 doubles, 18 home runs and 74 RBI in third full season with Louisville.

2010

Was 1 of 6 players to spend the entire season with Class AAA Louisville (Jared Burton, Chad Reineke, Wilkin Castillo, Todd Frazier, Zack Cozart)...from 5/12-6/24 was on the Bats' disabled list with a broken left hand...on 5/4 at Buffalo tied career highs with 4 hits and 4 runs scored...on 9/2 and 9/3 at Indianapolis produced consecutive 4-RBI games...participated in his first Major League spring training camp...following the season played for Leones del Caracas in the Venezuelan Winter League.

2009

Spent the season at Class AAA Louisville, where he batted .275 with 14hr and 47rbi in 112 apps...beginning 6/1 through the end of the season hit .322..belted 2 home runs on 5/11 vs Scranton/Wilkes- Barre...following the season played for Anzoategui of the Venezuelan Winter League (17g, .250, 1 double, 4hr, 9rbi)...on 1/26/10 was invited to his first Major League spring training camp.

2008

Spent most of the season at Class AA Chattanooga, where he hit .277 with 21hr and 60rbi in 98 apps... ranked among Southern League leaders in home runs (3rd) and slugging (.539, 4th)...had four 2-homer games, including in back-to-back contests on 7/12 vs Huntsville and 7/16 at Mobile (also 6/6 at Tennessee, 8/6 vs Tennessee)...belted a grand slam on 7/1 vs West Tenn...spent 5g with Class A Sarasota, where he went 5-for-20 with a home run and 3rbi...overall his 22 homers ranked second among all Reds farmhands... led Reds minor leaguers with a .537 slugging percentage...was named Southern League Player of the Week for 8/18-8/24 (14-27, .519, 3hr, 4rbi).

Spent his first professional season at Rookie Billings, where he batted .354 with 8hr and 40rbi in 60g...led the Pioneer League in batting and slugging percentage (.573) and ranked second in on-base percentage (.457)...twice named Pioneer League Player of the Week (7/24-7/30, 8/28-9/4)...was named the organization's Minor League Player of the Month for August (.326, 6hr, 27rbi, 23bb, 27g)...from 8/27-8/30, in the 4-game series at Ogden went 6-for-12 (.500) with 4 homers, a grand slam, 7 runs and 11rbi...was 1 of 3 Reds minor leaguers to win his league's batting crown (Norris Hopper, .347, International League; Joey Votto, .319, Southern League).
