Spent the entire season with Double A Huntsville...Recorded a 7-12 record with a 4.05 ERA in 28 appearances/25 starts...Tossed a season-best 8.0 innings August 21 vs Birmingham while allowing one run on four hits in each start...Appeared in one game in relief (1.0 IP) with Ogden.

Missed much of the season as he was recovering from surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow . . . pitched in the Arizona Rookie League making five starts from August 10-30 . . . his last two starts featured eight shutout innings with one hit and nine strikeouts . . . made one relief appearance with Ogden of the Pioneer Rookie League on September 3 at Casper allowing one run in one inning.
