2019

Attended spring training with the White Sox...Was acquired by the Pirates on 3/28 and was assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis...Ranked second in the International League in hitting, fourth in OBP and was tied for fifth in doubles...Was selected to the International League's postseason All-Star team as a second baseman...Made 44 appearances at second base, 29 at shortstop, 24 in left field, nine at third base and four in right field while playing with Indianapolis...Hit .390 (30-for-77) and produced a .969 OPS in 21 games during the month of April...Fell a triple shy of hitting for the cycle on 4/23 at Gwinnett...Ranked first among league leaders in batting (.380), tied for second in doubles (12), fifth in OBP (.444) and sixth in OPS (.990) when he was selected by Pittsburgh on 5/13...Played the final three innings at third base on 5/13 at Arizona and singled in his first at bat - his first Major League hit since 10/2/16...Went hitless in his next 18 at bats thru 5/25; was designated for assignment on 5/26... Played for Class AAA Buffalo in the Toronto organization and Class AAA New Orleans in the Miami organization...Signed with the Blue Jays as a free agent on 2/11 and appeared in 94 games with Buffalo...Was traded by Toronto to the Marlins for cash on 8/14...Finished the season with New Orleans.

2016

Appeared in 59 games, including 14 starts (8G in LF, 2G in CF, 2G in RF, 1G at 2B, 1G at 3B)...Contract was selected on June 28 from Triple-A Colorado Springs (57G, .320, 2HR, 19RBI, 13SB)...Used primarily as a pinch-hitter, doing so on 38 occasions...Took the roster spot of OF Alex Presley (DFA).

2013

Split the season between Houston and Triple-A Oklahoma City … appeared in 52 games over two stints with the Astros and played all nine defensive positions, including 20 (18 starts) at shortstop, 12 (10) at second base, nine (two) in left field, two in center and one each at pitcher, catcher, first, third and right … became the first player in Astros history to play all nine positions in a season and the first in the major leagues since Detroit's Shane Halter and Texas' Scott Sheldon in 2000 … went 6-20 (.300) with RISP… was recalled from Oklahoma City on 5/14 and played in three games (three starts) before being optioned back to the RedHawks on 5/17 … was recalled on 6/25 for the remainder of the season … connected on his first major-league home run on 7/6 at Texas (off Tanner Scheppers) … caught the fourth-seventh innings and pitched a scoreless eighth on 8/19 at Texas … became the 13th major leaguer (14th time) to pitch and catch in the same game and first since Toronto's Jeff Mathis on 7/25/12 vs. Oakland … also was the eighth Astros position player to pitch in a game … played in 70 games with Oklahoma City, including 54 at second, seven in left, five at shortstop, four at third and two as the designated hitter … batted .333 (30-90) in April and .322 (29-90) in June … hit .303 (30-99) vs. left-handers … compiled a 12-game hitting streak from 4/5-18, going 22-49 (.449) with a homer, seven RBI and 11 runs scored …

Saw his first career Major League action, hitting .191 (13x68) with four doubles, seven RBI and five walks in 30 games with Arizona...made 14 starts at shortstop and one start at second base...made his Major League debut on Aug. 11 vs WSH after having his contract purchased from Triple A Reno...recorded his first ML hit on Aug. 16 at STL, a single off RHP Kyle Lohse...collected his first RBI on Aug. 29 vs. CIN...spent the majority of the season at Triple A Reno, where he posted a .344 (144x419) batting average with 95 runs, 30 doubles, nine triples, 73 RBI and a .442 on-base percentage in 108 games with the Aces...played 39 games at second base and 60 games at shortstop...honored in Baseball America's 'Best Tools' issue as having the 'Best Strike- Zone Judgement' in the entire Pacific Coast League...was a 2012 PCL Midseason and Postseason All-Star, and was named to the 2012 Topps Triple A All-Star Team...named an MiLB.com Diamondbacks Organizational All-Star...ranked among the PCL's leaders in on-base percentage (2nd), runs scored (3rd), batting average (4th), walks (4th), stolen bases (6th) and triples (7th)...set a Reno club record with a 31-game hitting streak from May 20-June 24, where he hit .421 (56x133)...reached base safely in a PCL-best 46 straight games from May 3-June 24...was one of two Minor League players to finish the month of May with a .400 average or better (also Class A Lakeland's Nick Castellanos, .409).

2011

Returned to Double A Mobile for his second consecutive season, posting a .270 (103x381) average with 19 doubles, three homers, 15 steals and a .362 on-base percentage in 120 games...was the everyday second baseman for the Baybears, and helped the club capture the 2011 Southern League Championship title.

2010

Spent the entire season with Double A Mobile...had a .278 (108x388) batting average with 16 doubles, two homers, 25 stolen bases and a .374 on-base percentage in 124 games...was named to the Southern League Midseason All-Star team.

2009

Played in 117 games for Class A South Bend, hitting .258 (100x387) with 21 doubles, three homers, 13 steals and a .365 OBP.

2008

Hit .296 (53x179) with 15 doubles, three homers and an .854 OPS (.390 OBP/.464 SLG) in 53 games for Rookie Level Missoula...was a Pioneer League Postseason All-Star in what was his first professional season.
