Recorded a 1.59 ERA (2 ER/11.1 IP) in 11 May relief appearances after starting the year with a 6.35 ERA (4 ER/5.2 IP) in seven April outings. ... Held the opponent scoreless in eight-straight outings, May 1-25, spanning 7.1 innings of work. ... Had a 4.33 ERA at the end of June, but allowed eight earned runs in his final three outings (2.0 IP), July 1-6, to raise his ERA over two runs to his season-ending 6.52 mark. ...
