Saw his first Major League action in 2010, posting a 4.15 ERA in nine games over six separate stints with the club ... acquired by the Dodgers with right-hander John Ely from the White Sox in exchange for Juan Pierre on Dec. 17, 2009 ... Recalled by the Dodgers on April 18 and made his Major League debut on April 20 at Cincinnati, firing 2.0 scoreless innings ... Was at his best against the heart of opposing lineups, holding opposing 2-5 hitters to a .143 average (2-for-14) ... limited opponents to a .182 batting average (2-for-11) with runners in scoring position ... Allowed only two extra-base hits (both doubles) and no home runs over 8.2 innings in the big leagues ... In 45 games (one start) with Triple-A Albuquerque, went 3-2 with four saves and a 3.71 ERA ... Had a stretch 10.1 scoreless innings over nine straight appearances from June 13-July 8 to earn his second big league call-up on July 11 ... struck out nine and allowed just seven baserunners during that span (six hits, one walk) ... Led all Minor League pitchers with 35 saves in his first season at Class AA Birmingham ... the 35 saves marked the most by a white sox farmhand since Dwayne Pollok in 2004 (38) ... was named a Southern League mid/postseason all-star ... ranked third in the SL in appearances (56) ... held opponents to a .223 (48-215) average ... was 5-1 with a 1.69 era (7 er/37.1 ip) prior to the All-Star Break and 0-3 with a 5.59 era (12 er/19.1 ip) in the second half ... averaged 10.5 strikeouts per 9.0 ip (66 so) ... posted a 0.84 era (1 er/10.2 ip) in April and a 0.90 mark (1 er/10.0 ip) in June ... converted nine straight save opportunities from 6/21-7/18, allowing two earned runs and seven hits over 11.1 ip (1.59 era) ... Opened the season with Single-A Lake Elsinore (Padres), going 2-1 with 13 saves and a 3.07 ERA (14 ER/41.0 IP) in 41 games...tied for fourth in the California League with 13 saves...Struck out 45 in 41.0 innings in 41 appearances for Lake Elsinore (9.88 strikeouts per 9.0 innings pitched)...Limited opponents to a .209 (32-for-153) average and held right-handed hitters to a .181 (13-for-72) average...Traded to Chicago (AL) on July 31 for infielder/outfielder Rob Mackowiak and assigned to Single-A Winston Salem (White Sox), going 1-0 with three saves and a 2.55 ERA (5 ER/17.2 IP) in 14 games.

2006

Went 5-5 with three saves and a 4.91 ERA (34 ER/62.1 IP) in 53 games for Single-A Fort Wayne...ranked second in the Midwest League with 53 appearances...Allowed just three home runs in 62.1 innings...Suspended from August 17-24 for violating team policy.
