Spent the majority of the season on the DL recovering from left shoulder surgery (June 27, 2017) but returned to the Majors on Sept. 15 and made three scoreless relief appearances in the big leagues ... Allowed just one hit (1-for-13) in 4.0 scoreless innings in the Majors, striking out seven without issuing a walk ... Following rehab and a brief stint in the minors, recalled on Sept. 10 and his Sept. 15 relief appearance represented his first big league game since May 20, 2017…struck out a batter in 1.0 inning of relief against the St. Louis Cardinals ...
