2010
Spent most of the season at Louisville...ranked fifth in the International League in ERA (3.34)...led the Bats in starts (24), wins (10) and ERA...became Louisville's all-time leader in career strikeouts (384)...among all Reds minor leaguers ranked T2nd in wins and sixth in ERA...made 2 starts (0-2, 3.09) and 5 relief apps (0-0, 3.00) during 2 stints for the Reds...made both starts during his first stint with Cin, on 7/6 at Mets (3-0 loss) and 7/11 at Phi (1-0 loss)...made all 5 of his relief apps after he was promoted a second time, on 9/3...made his season debut in the 3-0 loss at NYM on 7/6 (5.2ip, 7h, 3er, 1bb, 3k, 1hr, 108 pitches, 76 strikes)...took the spot in the rotation vacated by Travis Wood, who made an emergency start the night before when just before gametime Aaron Harang was scratched with lower back spasms...from 4/22-4/29 was on the Bats' disabled list with a blister on his left middle finger...entered the season rated the eighth-best prospect in the organization by Baseball America.
