2004

Began the season on the roster of AAA Toledo, but joined the Tigers on April 5, the fourth day of the season, replacing the injured Matt Miller... saw five games with Detroit, collecting an 8.71 ERA over 10.1 innings...Worked 4.2 innings, his longest outing of the season, on April 5 vs. Cleveland (3 R, 5 H)...Allowed runs in four of the five games pitched with Detroit... tossed his lone scoreless effort on April 18 vs. Tampa Bay, when he allowed two hits in 2.0 innings... returned to AAA Toledo on April 22.

2001

• Split his first season in the Tigers organization between Detroit and Triple A Toledo...paced the Mud Hens with nine saves.
• Opened the season in the Tigers bullpen, making two appearances before being inserted into the starting rotation in place of an injured Brian Moehler.
• Suffered the loss in his first start of the season April 10 at Minnesota...allowed six runs (five earned) on six hits in 4.1 innings.
• Worked a season-high 5.1 innings in his second start of the season April 21 at Cleveland...did not figure in the decision after allowing three runs on four hits as the Tigers suffered a 5-4 loss in 10 innings.
• Touched up for seven runs (six earned) on five hits and four walks in 3.1 innings as he took the loss against Tampa Bay on April 28.
• Made his fourth and final start with the Tigers on May 4, allowing four runs on eight hits in 2.1 innings.
• Placed on the disabled list on May 5 with a left shoulder strain.
• Assigned to Toledo on May 16 to begin a rehab assignment...made three appearances, including two starts, with the Mud Hens before being recalled from the rehab assignment, activated from the disabled list and designated for assignment on May 25.
• Registered his first professional save at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on May 22, fanning three batters in two innings.
• Outrighted to Toledo by the Tigers on May 31 after clearing waivers.
• Held the opposition scoreless in his first nine outings with Toledo May 16-June 15, a span of 13.0 innings.
• Fanned three batters as he worked two scoreless innings for a save against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre June 1.
• Worked a perfect inning against Columbus June 5 as he earned his third save of the season.
• Allowed an unearned run, the first run he surrendered with the Mud Hens, on June 17 against Richmond.
• Worked a season-high 6.1 scoreless innings of relief against Rochester June 20.
• Nailed down the save as he worked a scoreless inning at Richmond on June 24.
• Recorded four saves while posting a 0.00 ERA in 11 appearances during June...held International League oppo- sition to a .228 batting average (18x79) as he allowed one unearned run in 21.1 innings.
• Suffered the loss as he allowed a solo homer at Louisville on July 2.
• Earned the win as he retired two of the three batters he faced against Syracuse July 8.
• Roughed up in his final five appearances with the Mud Hens, going 1-1 with a 7.00 ERA and two saves...he allowed seven runs on 14 hits in just nine innings of work.
• Earned the win as he fanned a season-high six batters in four innings of work at Durham on July 17.
• Had his contract purchased from Toledo by the Tigers on July 27 as he joined Detroit for his second stint with the club.
• Worked solely in relief for Detroit the remainder of the season, going 2-1 with a 2.38 ERA in 23 appearances.
• Fanned a season-best two batters in two scoreless innings against Seattle August 1.
• Recorded the win after working 1.1 scoreless innings at Texas on August 7.
• Pitched a season-high 2.1 innings of relief at Kansas City on August 10.
• Picked up his second win with the Tigers on August 15 versus Anaheim, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings.
• Posted a 2-1 record with a 2.35 ERA in 12 appearances during August...allowed six runs (four earned) on 16 hits while fanning 13 batters in 15.1 innings.
• Appeared in just nine of the Tigers final 32 games of the season, working a total of 5.1 innings...allowed two runs on 10 hits, including two homers.
• Fared better at Comerica Park than on the road...1-1 with a 4.50 ERA in 17 games at home, allowing 10 runs (nine earned) in 18.0 innings...finished 1-2 with a 6.75 ERA in 13 games on the road, allowing 19 runs (16 earned) in 21.1 innings.
• Lefties batted .339 (21x62) with Perisho on the mound, while righties hit .320 (33x103) against him.

2000

• After leading the Pacific Coast League with 15 wins at Triple A Oklahoma in 1999, he struggled during the 2000 season, going 2-7 with a 7.37 ERA.
• His season ERA was the second highest in club history among pitchers with 100-or-more innings, trailing only Darren Oliverbs 7.42 mark in 2000.
• Started the season in long relief...did not allow a run in giving up seven hits over 4.0 innings in his first four games April 5-25.
• Compiled an 8.10 ERA (18ER/20IP) in his next eight outings, all in relief...allowed 10 runs (seven earned) including two home runs and four walks in 2.0 innings May 5 against Oakland.
• Appeared in just nine of the Rangers first 54 games.
• Got his first major league victory on June 4 against Arizona...fanned two and walked two without allowing a hit or run in two-thirds of an inning.
• Entered the rotation June 17 at Tampa Bay and gave up just two hits over six shutout innings to combine on the 5-0 shutout of the Rays.
• Allowed two runs in a season-high seven-inning effort in his next outing, June 22 versus Minnesota...did not factor in the decision.
• Fell into a seven-game losing streak starting June 27...posted a 9.59 ERA (54ER/50.2IP) in his final 11 starts.
• Allowed 29 earned runs over five straight starts August 4-24, with 39 hits including three home runs in 22.1 innings... gave up 15 runs and 16 hits over 6.2 innings in back-to-back losses August 19 and 24.
• Struck out a season-high eight batters August 14 against the Yankees.
• Returned to the bullpen after that loss and posted a 7.62 ERA (11ER/13IP) in eight relief appearances the rest of the year.
• Allowed five-or-more runs in eight of his last 11 starts.
• Lasted just 0.1 inning July 21 at Seattle, the shortest outing by a Rangers starter since Bobby Witt pitched 0.1 inning September 14, 1997 versus Minnesota...Perisho allowed seven runs (six earned) on five hits and gave up three walks in that game.
• First batters hit .400 (6x15) against him...opponents batted .316 overall, with lefties hitting .331 (47x142) and righties averaging .308 (89x289).

1999

• Rebounded from shoulder surgery to lead the Pacific Coast League with 15 wins in 1999.
• Led all Triple A pitchers and tied for second among all minor league pitchers in wins while with Oklahoma...tied for fifth among Triple A hurlers with 150 strikeouts, was fourth with 78 walks, and tied for 10th in strikeouts per nine innings (8.64).
• Tied for fourth in the PCL with his starts (27) and strikeout totals.
• Broke the Rangers all-time Triple A single season victory mark, held by Larry McCall who posted 14 wins in 1979.
• Named to the PCL post-season all-star squad...paced Oklahoma in wins, starts and strikeouts and was second in innings (156.1).
• Went 2-2 with a 4.38 ERA (12ER/24.1IP) in his first five starts, April 10-May 2...improved to 4-0 with a 5.82 ERA (25ER/38.2IP) in seven starts May 7-June 8.
• Earned the win in three consecutive starts May 7-17.
• Fanned a season-high 11 batters May 22 at Salt Lake City.
• Was 1-4 with an 8.37 ERA (22ER/23.2IP) in five starts June 14-July 4 but went 8-1 with a 2.71 mark over his remaining 10 starts for Oklahoma.
• Posted a season-best five-game winning streak July 9-August 1, allowing nine earned runs over 35.2 innings (2.27 ERA) and was 3-0 with a 1.96 ERA in his final three games.
• Recorded two complete games, one on August 1 at Edmonton and on August 17 versus Las Vegas.
• Pitched into the sixth inning in 18 of his 27 starts and into the seventh in 11 games...surrendered no more than two earned runs in 11 of his outings.

1998

• Spent most of the 1998 season at Oklahoma before joining the Rangers.
• Was second on Oklahomabs staff with eight wins, the most by a Rangers Triple A lefty since John Barfield in 1989 (10) and was fourth on the staff with 15 starts.
• Went 6-1 with a 2.94 ERA (17ER/52IP) in his first eight starts with Oklahoma through May 13.
• Posted a complete game victory May 8 versus Fresno.
• Fanned a season-high 10 batters June 4 at Nashville.
• Was 7-5 with a 4.00 ERA in 15 starts, tied for fifth in the PCL in wins, when he was recalled by Texas on June 16.
• Returned to Oklahoma June 22...defeated Nashville June 26 for his final win of the season.
• Experienced pain in his shoulder during that game and was placed on the disabled list...activated July 23 but lasted just 2.1 innings against Tucson before leaving the game with pain.
• Underwent arthroscopic surghery on August 5 to repair partial labrum and rotator cuff tears in his left shoulder and missed the remainder of the season.

1997

• Started the 1997 season with Double A Midland in the Angels organization.
• Voted the sixth-best prospect in the Texas League by Baseball America.
• Was 5-2 with a 2.96 ERA in 10 starts, holding opponents to a .221 average.
• Issued three earned runs or less in nine of his 10 starts.
• Recalled by Anaheim May 23...optioned to Vancouver on July 7. Went 1-1 in three starts before rejoining Anaheim on July 26...returned to Vancouver July 30 and went 3-6 with a 4.21 ERA in six starts for the rest of the year.

1996

• Posted a combined 10-7 record between Single A Lake Elsinore and Midland in 1996.
• Went 7-5 with a 4.20 ERA in 21 games (18 starts) with one shutout for Lake Elsinore.
• Also posted a winning record for Midland, going 3-2 with a 3.21 ERA in eight starts.
