Took part in several youth clinics in Rhode Island's underserved areas and served food at the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen in an effort to support the local homeless population while with the Red Sox Triple-A affiliate in Pawtucket in 2018...Resides in Punto Fijo, Falcon, Venezuela.

2019

Was signed as a minor league free agent following the 2018 season and played in 54 games between Pawtucket (AAA) and Portland (AA). Of his 54 games, 47 came in Triple-A...Batted .192 (33-172) with 6 HR and 21 RBI between the two affiliates...Threw out 38.3% (23 CS/60 SB ATT) of attempted base stealers on the season between Portland (AA) and Pawtucket (AAA)....Appeared in one game at first base in Portland for five innings and made three successful putouts...Played for Magallanes in the Venezuelan Winter League.

2018

Caught 47 games for Triple-A Pawtucket, including 45 starts. Hit .205 (31-for-151) with 16 R, 7 2B, 1 HR, and 14 RBI. Threw out 17 of 39 attempted base stealers (43.6%)... Recorded 7 double plays from behind the plate, tying for the International League lead. Was invited to ML Spring Training and played 8 games, batting .500 (5-for-10, 2 2B, RBI). Hit his lone HR of the season on 6/24 vs. Syracuse, a game-winning solo shot in the 3rd inning. Drove in 5 runs over a 2-game span on 7/14 (3 RBI) and 7/17 (2 RBI). Hit safely in a season-high 8 straight games from 7/27- 8/10, batting .367 (11-for-30) with 2 2B and an .858 OPS.

2017

Appeared in 67 games for Jackson, his 1st full season at the Double-A level...Batted .197 (46-for-233) with 8 HR...Threw out 23 of 60 attempted base stealers (38.3%). During a 12-game stretch from 5/19-6/7, hit .304 (14-for-46) with 3 HR, 3 2B, and 10 runs scored.

2016

Hit .182 (2-for-11) with 1 home run and 1 RBI in 4 games in his second season with the D-backs...Recalled from Double-A Mobile on Aug. 8 when Welington Cas-tillo was placed on the Paternity Leave List...Became the second D-back to hit his first Major League home run in extra innings to give the team the lead on Aug. 10 @ Mets (also: Lyle Overbay on April 7, 2003 @ Dodgers)…was the first NL player to do so since the Cubs' Javier Baez on Aug. 5, 2014 @ Rockies...Combined to hit .238 (61-for-256) with 10 homers and 33 RBI in 76 games between Single-A Visalia and Double-A Mobile... Threw out 23 of 61 (37.7 %) attempted basestealers.

2015

Played in 18 games in his first Major League season with Arizona…made 7 starts with a 2.91 catcher's ERA (25 ER in 77.1 IP)…Began the season on the disabled list with a broken left hamate bone…played in 13 rehab games with Single-A Kane County and Triple-A Reno…Was reinstated from the disabled list on July 4…Made his Major League debut as a pinch runner on July 12 at Mets…Recorded first hit on July 18 vs. Giants (double off Jake Peavy)…Played for Salt River of the Arizona Fall League.

2014

Played in 94 games with Class A Bowling Green, batting .249 (90-for-362) with 9 homers and 63 RBI…ranked third among Midwest League catchers in RBI... Threw out 41.0 percent (25-for-61) of attempted base stealers, ranking second in the MWL... Selected by D-backs in the Rule 5 Draft on Dec. 11.

2013

Spent the majority of the season with Short-Season A Hudson Valley and hit .228 (38-for-167) with six homers and 33 RBI…also appeared in three games for Bowling Green... Named to the NYPL midseason All-Star Team... Led the NYPL by throwing out 57.1 percent (16-for-28) of attempted base stealers... Placed on the disabled list on Aug. 28 with a sprained right knee and missed the remainder of the season... Rated by Baseball America as the No. 2 Prospect in the NYPL following the season.

2012

Batted .231 (37-for-160) with five home runs and 23 RBI in 49 games with the Rookie-Level Princeton Rays...Ranked second in the Appalachian League after throwing out 38.2 percent (13-for-34) of attempted base stealers.

2011

Played the entire season with Venezuelan Summer League Rays, earning Triple Crown honors after batting .402 (96-for-239) with 21 home runs and 66 RBI over 69 games... Named the VSL's Most Valuable Player and an All-Star…led the VSL in on-base pct. (.503) and slugging pct (.732).

2010

Made his professional debut with VSL Rays and batted .223 (23-for-103) with four homers and 14 RBI in 34 games.
