Game-By-Game Highlights: Posted a career-best 4 hits, including a double, August 29 at STL...lifted game-ending sac fly in 5-4 win on September 23 vs. LAD...in 2-1 win on October 1 at ATL, capped scoring via opposite-field RBI single with one out in the 9th to snap a 1-1 deadlock.

Pete once again filled his utility infielder/pinch hitter role, making the Opening Day roster and remaining with the club other than being optioned to Richmond (AAA) from 7/5-9/3...Was 7-for-29 (.241) as PH. Of his 65 at-bats, 29 came as a pinch-hitter...Went 0-for-8 with a walk in nine plate appearances vs. LHP. Hit .228 (13-for-57) off RHP...Started nine games, seven as a third baseman and two at second base...Was optioned to Richmond (AAA) on 7/5 and joined the club on 7/12 (0-3, K, RS). Hit .240 (37-for-154) with one home run and eight RBIs in 43 games.
