Spent his second season in the Red Sox organization but it was his first actual season playing for them after not pitching during the 2020 shutdown...Made his Major League debut Aug. 30 in relief at Tampa...threw 2.0 innings and allowed two runs on two hits with one walk...Spent the rest of the year in Triple-A Worchester where he was named the club's Pitcher of the Year...Set career-bests in wins (11), strikeouts (115) and innings pitched (117.2) with the Woo Sox...his 21 starts were also a career-best...The 11 wins were tied for sixth-most in all of the minor leagues while his 115 strikeouts were tied for sixth-most in Triple-A East...Fashioned a 2.38 ERA (14er, 53.0ip) over his final 10 Triple-A starts while averaging a strikeout per inning (53 strikeouts in 53 innings).
