Hit walk-off single in the 10th inning August 30 against Toronto ... Hit in career-high seven straight games August 22-28 ... Hit safely in 14 of last 19 games, batting .303 (20-66) after his recall on August 22 ... Did not have an extra-base hit in his last 43 at-bats (11 singles) ... Finished seventh in the league in batting average (.308) and tied for second in triples (5)...Was fourth on the club with 68 runs scored...Had an 11-game hit streak, August 1-12, during which he hit .438 (21-48) with a double, two triples, two home runs, nine runs and 13 RBI.
