Ryan Ashley Radmanovich (Rad-MAN-uh-vich)...after spending 2 years at Allan Hancock (CA) Junior College, where he was team MVP and All-Coast Valley for 2 seasons and league MVP in 1992, attended Pepperdine University in 1993 and was named team MVP and All-West Coast Conference...graduated from John Diefenbaker High School in Calgary, where he played baseball and hockey...was a youth league teammate of Rangers reliever Jeff Zimmerman.

SUMMARY:
Spent his 4th consecutive season in the Triple-A Pacific Coast League, batting .273 with 31 doubles, 3 triples, 11 homers and 59 RBI in 120 games with Las Vegas...ranked 2nd on the club in doubles (tie), walks (60) and games played and finished tied for 3rd in homers...compiled 25 multiple-hit games (19 games with 2 hits, 6 games with 3 hits) and 11 multi-RBI contests.
HOT BAT:
Hit safely in a season-best 6 games on 3 occasions, April 8-17, July 23-28 and August 22-27...enjoyed the month of May, batting .311 (14-for-45) with 8 runs scored and 8 RBI in 11 games...May 22 at Calgary, went 3-for-6 with a season-high 5 RBI in a 16-3 win...highlighted a 7-run 3rd inning with a grand slam...was 3-for-5 with a season-best 2 home runs and 3 RBI July 20 vs. Sacramento...the offensive barrage was part of a streak in which Radmanovich reached safely via hit or walk in 20 of 21 games July 17-August 6...went 0-for-4 August 7 to snap the streak but went on to reach safely in 15 straight August 12-27...twice homered in consecutive games in August, August 16-17 vs. Oklahoma and August 25-26 at Sacramento...notched a season-high 3 doubles in an 8-1 victory vs. Fresno August 30, doubling in each of his first 3 at-bats.

Batted .309 (58-for-188) at home and .242 (51-for-211) on the road...posted a .323 (20-for-62) average with 3 doubles, 5 homers and 13 RBI in 15 games against Sacramento...hit .429 (3-for-7) with 10 RBI with the bases loaded and .314 (22-for-70) when leading off an inning.
ON THE DEFENSIVE:

Hit .286 with 24 doubles, 3 triples, 17 homers, 80 RBI and 10 stolen bases at Tacoma in his 2nd and final season in the Mariners organization...led the club in RBI and total bases (201)...appeared in 92 games in right field, 9 games as designated hitter and 5 games at third base...did not play July 18 until August 5 while playing with Team Canada at the Pan Am Games...posted 32 multiple-hit games including 7 games with 3 hits and 2 games with 4 hits.

After being claimed on waivers by the Mariners March 27, saw his only career major league action, splitting the year between Triple-A Tacoma and Seattle, where he appeared in 25 games...recalled April 13 and made his major league debut that day vs. Cleveland...3 days later, singled off the Twins' Mike Morgan at the Metrodome for his first big league hit...optioned to Tacoma April 21 and recalled again by the Mariners May 8...was 1-for-22 (.045) in his first 2 major league stints, but hit .298 (14-for-47) with 9 RBI after a September 8 call-up...drilled his first M.L. home run, September 9 off Tampa Bay's Rolando Arrojo at the Kingdome...posted 2-hit games, September 14 vs. Minnesota and September 18 at Anaheim...between Triple-A and the majors, posted career bests in hits (134) and doubles (37).
